Bruce needs to learn about TE match up advantages and how to use them in concert with all the moving parts….and why it helps controlling clock for wins especially with a complimentary strong defense. This seems to be an issue….Gronk is now a blocking TE…its understandable why Howard has not reached his potential.
For all those complaining about Gronk right now, just be patient…
I have a feeling that we are keeping it simple for him and wait til like mid season when he gets up to pace of when he used to play. Everyone will have film of him as a blocker and prepare for him as a blocker, but once he is ready he will catch those dangerous seam routes from Brady. I would rather have Brady master the chemistry between Mike and Godwin by feeding them right now. Our offense can get by with Mike Evans and Godwin on the outside with Fournette at RB. Gronk will be more of a feature later in the season especially in the post season. When opposing defense think they have our offense “all figured out”, then we will release the beast Gronk is. Just stay tuned Bucs Nation!
