That’s true, they had fewer than 60 yards rushing.
But using pro-bowl receivers as running backs makes me very nervous. I’d much rather see OJ or Bernard fill that role. They’ve used Evan’s a few times in this role too the past couple games, I hope they don’t use this strategy anymore so near post season. Having Evan’s hurt on a 50 yard jump ball is one thing, him getting hurt on a reverse behind the sticks is another. You are 100% right about it opening up the middle but is the risk worth it, this group of receivers should be capable of creating separation. They can get away with it at first(nobody expects you to use Godwin and Evan’s as a running back) but with every game they do it, the more film defenses will be have to study, adapt and learn.

If not for that Pic6 by Brady, game would have been blown open earlier. I don’t like those quick, short pass plays in our own 10. Those should be run plays in my opinion.

@david selawsky the pass was all on him but also the play-call came from Byron
Leftwich which even BA said was a bad call. With that said, Brady is allowed to change the call during the play and should have. Brady has that ability to put the blame of bad throws on some receivers at times but even he knows when it’s on him.
