My contrarian take: Fournette is the Bucs’ best all-around running back. 😲

@the truth yeah fournette is a way better catcher than rojo. And he’ll be catching and running some. But when he’s not doing that the bucs want him protecting Brady.
It’s fournette pretty easily. Rojo always looks terrible to me when we play great teams. Just 2 yard gain after 2 yard gain. Fournette a much better catcher and blocker too it’s a no brainer

Bucs gonna need a run game to slow down saints pass rush. I feel great about the match ups at the reciever position. But yal have to give Brady time. Be balanced with the run and pass attack. Make the defense think. We got this
We need Rojo for sure. I think the saints may cater to the fact that he may not play. Maybe it’ll throw they game plan off a lil with Rojo and Fournette in
But we don’t lose anything when Fournette is on fire. And he is hungry to show what he can do. Remember.. Fournette was the WHOLE OFFENSE for the jags. And he was a beast. So now he can stay healthy and give 100% now. The D cant just focus on him and it shows. He is a awesome pass catcher and Any team would love to have him. I wish Seattle would have tried to get him. The Tandem of Rojo and Fournette is something in time that we are all lucky to watch.. and to throw in the rest of the cast… I gonna sit back and enjoy the ride.

look, the bucs have been using fournette WRONG all season… u cannot give this guy 5 carries and expect production… he needs 15-20 and he can take over a game trust me… fournette far better than rojo as an overall back however, from a pure running standpoint they are pretty close. FEED LEN

BA: Make Boles do what the Bears did to Brees with man coverage. Do a YT search for Krueger Sports: Film Study: Tampa Bay Matches Up Well? and watch it. The Bucs defense does almost twice as well when they play man-press-coverage against Brees. These complicated blitz/zone packages are confusing the Bucs defense into too many mistakes. Brees gets the ball out too fast.
It’s been interesting to watch as the Buc’s have made incremental improvements in so many aspects over the course of the year;
Early in the year we saw the Buc’s playing on pure athleticism and talent.
Few games in, you could see Brady beginning to understand and anticipate how Evans and Godwin etc.. would break against various coverages and play by play situations.
The O line playing together more and more as a unit is blaring now when you look back at the time they had to get rid of the ball from early in the season to now
After the break we began to see pre snap motions more and more that Brady has historically relied upon
The RB group gaining confidence in the O line and really beginning to run down hill
To where we have been the last few weeks where the play action is now a verifiably REAL and PRESENT DANGER
And you can now see the TEAM chemistry, the trust that was lacking throughout most of season really begin to shine.
And I think the improvement in the offense can also be seen in the Defense where that burden to to play game after game with your back against the wall and literally save games has now been lifted and they can begin to play aggressive which is where this Defensive unit’s true strength lies.
Having watched this season evolve I think the “No Riskit, No Bisquit” mentality isn’t just about winning football games anymore, but about beating opponents, about leaving no doubt, literally leaving nothing on the table to discuss afterwards.
I don’t think we have seen Tampa’s best game, as a matter of fact they could win the Superbowl and I still don’t think we will have seen what this team is capable of this year.
Ya know it’s one thing to listen to all the hype, only to fall flat on your face, it’s another entirely different mentality to believe in one another and rise up as a team and know with out a doubt you are champions.
Fournett is the best one for the playoffs. He has more chemistry with Tom and most important, ball security.. Ronald can burst out and he’s faster but in big games he fumbles
