We fought and clawed our way back to lose the way we did was devastating can’t stop thinking about it smh lol Hopefully Tom returns and we add a few additional pieces I believe we could run it back.
Run it back with such a hard schedule next year??
@cherisse harris no schedule is really that hard. I gurantee that at least two of the teams playing in the conference championship games won’t even have a winning record next season. The Problem is that Arians is the coach and needs to have the most talent in order to win the SB due to him getting out coached a lot.
@Chris Shook they have to play some hard teams -the chiefs, rams, 49ers, Bengals, saints, Cardinals, packers and Cowboys! The other teams should be an easy win. But they are not beating the saints, chiefs or the rams 😩
Couple things to take away from game. Todd Bowles and the defense botched the end of the game with terrible coverage calls and busts. Not having Godwin and AB hurt the offense big time, forcing Tyler Johnson to play a bigger role (which he clearly wasn’t ready for). Brady needs a cleaner pocket at this time of his career, and the left/right tackles both got exposed multiple times. All in all, Rams were basically 100% healthy with all stars present going against a tired and injured Bucs team. Hopefully next year we can get and stay healthy!!!
Won’t happen, it’s over, they’ll be starting from scratch. More than likely leftwich and bowles will be gone along with some players.Just not enough ingredients in original
recipe to carry over the success or lack of.
@a_collection_of_cells Minus a couple of turnovers is a non starter in discussion just like if T Bowles hadn’t…….! The game ended up tied in the last minute. All games are consequence of decisions and performance. Rams won fair and square but Offensive line conditions greatly favored Rams so be it!

@Donnie Trussel I’ve seen when we did have a healthy team going up against the Rams last season they still find a way to beat us. two Seasons prior to that they were able to beat us 🤷🏽♂

It would be nice to see them take some draft picks that will get them a couple good secondaries

If Brady comes back I guarantee most players will stay. Everyone says the same thing about Brady…they love playing with him.

@cherisse harris most players does not mean all 25 players. If I was a betting man I would predict out of the 22 players 15 will return if Brady decides to stay.
@tpjv01 realistically it is not possible for everyone to return.. But it would be good if they kept several key players like Jensen, gronk, godwin and fournette. Sadly some players will just be too expensive to keep
Everyone loves playin’ with Brady for the past 20 years. Only one exception, Antonio Brown.

I agree it’s the way they came back and then lost it was craziest game I’ve seen . Wish we would have won but Tommy is right only 1 team is happy in the end . Hope it isn’t the rams … go bucs

So you would rather lose to a Team that loses in the playoffs rather than losing to the Champ. If the Rams win the SB then it looks a lot better with all the injuries and trailing 27-3 in the 3rd quarter an to tie the game that could give the Bucs confidence.
@Chris Shook I’m with you. I hope the Rams win out, and frankly, they are Super Bowl quality this year too. Neither the 49ers or Chiefs would be an easy game for them but they are certainly as good as either team, on paper anyway. If the Bucs had not had so many injuries, I’m convinced that they would have at least made it to the Super Bowl, especially with Green Bay going down. That’s not an excuse, it’s just a fact of life that when you have to go 3 deep in multiple key positions because of injuries, it’s going to be tough to go all of the way.
I don’t understand that defensive call at the end, they should of kept everything in front of them, I can’t believe they let Cupp get behind them so easily

It’s terrible coaching the fact that Arians said that some of the players didn’t get the call suggest that they never went over Situational football.

Loss is on the coaching staff. Brady pulls you back in and you don’t keep the kick off in play, and not press on the receivers. What a joke. Brady didn’t look happy there has to be stuff going on behind the scenes. Dump Arians and revamp the staff if Brady comes back. You gotta convince Godwin to come back and Improve on certain positions. Not just bring everyone back. They confused luck with competency this last off season

You hv made a couple of the better points I’ve read! If yur going to be agressive, at least press the receivers! Also, why was there not a squib-kick on the kick-off to run 5-6 secs of time off? The corner-blitz that allowed for Winfield to be isolated on Kupp one-on-one was a terrible defensive call! I don’t want to hear that everyone wasn’t in position or didn’t react properly! Wrong call- period! Even Tony Dungy tweeted right after that play that the blitz in that situation was the wrong call! What sucks is, after that amazing comeback, the Bucs coaching staff messes it up! Had the Bucs played back and kept everyone in front of them, time wld hv run out and they wld hv had OT! Had the game gone to OT, the Bucs wld hv won it! It would hv been better than the 28-3 comeback against the Falcons!

But you definitely made some good points. Some of the play calling at the end was ABSOLUTELY questionable..
@Frank Kiser They should. Brady’s retirement talk might be a leverage play. Glazers know who sells out the stadium. It’s not Arians. Coaching is the Achilles heel. Knowing that Kupp was getting the ball and not stopping it is negligence.

If Brady decides to go one more season than some players will have to go and younger better players will need to be brought in (possibly coaches too)

“Play the last 40 seconds a little differently!” Bruce said he doesn’t question that call! Yes he does! You DO NOT leave a saftey alone one-on-one with the best receiver in the league on a 0-Cover blitz! And, of course, the previous play with the CB Davis falling down hurt as well!

BUCS could have easily won, they gave up 9 points to go for it on 4th downs. And then all they had to do was run the clock by running it when they were at their 20 yard line. They almost had it regardless, if the corner stuck with kupp
. Either way Brady brought them even close , him Evans , Gronkowski and Fournette .
Hardly any team wanted Tom during his free agency. Love y’all
