Defense for the win. I was hoping they would put Brissett in but that is selfish of me. Watson is basically a rookie again and he will have to get back to the basics. If we plan on owning the Bengals YET AGAIN, Deshaun Watson needs to learn what being a Brown is all about, and he doesn’t have much time.

If Watson looks like this in Cincinnati I hope they take him out and put Brissett in because we need to win all the remaining games to have any hopes of making it to the playoffs this year. Don’t get me wrong I think Watson is going to be great when he gets enough time back in there but we are going into week 13 and Brissett has been playing with these guys all year and I think if it looks bad next week they have to put Brissett back in or it’s wait again till next year. So tired of saying that too. Maybe next year! Go Browns.

    The Browns aren’t in the playoff conversation and they aren’t paying Watson 230 million to sit on the bench. Brissett might do what he did today for some special plays but he’s done as a Brown unless Watson gets hurt.

    That is not going to happen, if he is rusty then he will have to continue battling to knock the rust off. It isn’t about this year, it is about next season. The Browns handed Deshaun Watson a 4-7 record. This team is not going to the playoffs, you would be better off looking at the remaining 5 games as an extended preseason. It is going to take Watson time to get everything right, he han’t played in 700 days prior to today. I think he will struggle the next 2 weeks, and he will get a little bit better each week. The last 3 games he will look closer to 2020 Deshaun Watson. And then in 2023 he should be back to his old self.
