They were stopping the run all game, the stacked the box because they knew we had no receivers, and our oline was depleted
@Nick Nickens For how many yards? You want them to keep running against 8 in the box every down it wouldn’t have mattered. Plus they were losing inmediately they had to throw more.

Ima browns fan and have been for 14yrs and I’m still glad the browns drafted baker over darnold. Darnold isn’t bad but I didn’t think Cleveland was a good situation for him, as well as I thought baker was the best fit out of all those qbs for the browns. I never thought the Jets situation would be this bad with Darnold but this maybe the best for him. I can see him being like Alex Smith when he was in San Fran. They just need the right coach and put the right pieces around darnold. He’s not horrible. He’s not as good as Colin cowherd thinks he is either, but he’s not bad. Jets would be better off just keep building around him. Jacksonville is a much better situation for Trevor as well.

People need to know generational talent =/= best quarterback in the draft. Elway was taken 1st but wasnt the 2nd best behind ken o’brien and dan marino. And andrew luck was taken 1st while russell wilson was taken in 3rd overall in the same draft. Generational doesnt mean best.

Guess since they couldn’t win the first draft pick for 2021 they might as well win another game.
@jacob Cochran i think that the Jets losing the chance at a first draft pick is a plus for Darnold since it now means that they won’t be getting Trevor Lawrence, so his job is safe for 2021. My guess is that the Jets will be looking to trade their 2nd pick to a team that wants a chance at Zach Wilson or Justin Fields. It could be a blessing in disguise, we’ll have to see. XD
@Cheng Teoh yeah I think his plan was to tank but not tank enough to where the Jets get the number 1 overall draft pick. We could trade away our draft pick because tbh I don’t thing Justin Fields is as good as Sam Darnold. So it will be interesting to see what the Jets do
Drafting Tlaw wouldn’t do anything for this team anyways. The jets have many holes and one draft class wont fix it. They would ruin Tlaws career.
