They postpone games only when it’s convenient for the purposes of the powers that be. Anyway, that game could have been won had Stefanski actually made a second half adjustment. He should have altered the passing game to concentrate on the running backs and tight ends. Instead, he did little to nothing to adjust, with the predictable outcome as a result. The miracle is that it was as close as it ended up being. It wasn’t Baker, the Defense, or even that useless, piece of garbage Kicker, who lost that game… This one was ALL on Stefanski!!!

they didnt prostpone that game cam didnt play… they also didnt prospone the denver game either….THEY ONLY DO IT WHEN YOUR WHOLE TEAM HAS IT, only ONE the lb was positive, the WR were held out for 5 days for precautions……….i know its a tehcacaltiy but it is what it is, if baker did not fumble the fucking ball 3 times we would have won, if HC didnt call such a bad game we would have won, stop it, its bakers and kevins fault

@aaron clay there were some stupid calls, but I can’t fully blame the coaches game-planning when he had about 15 minutes to figure it all out. 3 practice squad WR’s? tough to plan for that.

I mean there’s no way stefanski could make a whole new game plan with the short notice news. It was apparent when they didn’t adjust for not having their core players on offense and defense.

@Unknown_Individual It was a mix of different things. The game should have been post-poned. Period. We missed olmen, dbs, and bla bla not only our whole wr core. That beeing said there will never be a NFL franchise with a QB who throws 25 TDs BUT throws 8 ints and fumbles the ball all over the place. Lets say Mayfumble is there because he costs less than a free agent.

@D M Everything you said is true and I am over it, but it’s still a stupid rule in my opinion, like so many other new rules. Helmet to helmet is overdone, can’t touch the Quarterback even if you’re in midair. Holding on offensive linemen is seldom called anymore. Pass interference is way overdone when contact isn’t intentional. It’s not football like I used to play it. That play should be a first down for the offense. The defense needs to recover the ball.

So, if the Jets had recovered that fumble, would they have been forced to turn it back over to the Browns? (After all, that would have constituted “advancing” the ball to the other team!) That should have been Cleveland’s first down, end of frigging story! The Haslam’s should have been tearing their box apart, and throwing furniture! Calling that rule idiotic is being kind. It’s a totally brain dead piece of garbage that has no place being written into the rule book in the first place!

@D M – Bad rules are bad rules and need to be called out. The whole system is suspect. Roughing the quarterback? Roughing the kicker? Come on! Are players supposed to suspend themselves in mid-air and change the direction of where their bodies end up? Baker and that Kicker were barely touched! Bullshit is bullshit and will remain bullshit until these rules are adjusted accordingly. Not advancing a fumble under two minutes is just another example of bullshit rules run amok.

There is no need for this rule. If someone fumbles the ball forward intentionally, hoping a teammate recovers it for a first down or a touchdown, a forward lateral should be called, regardless of how much time is left. It’s a 5 yard penalty from the point of the lateral and a loss of down. If the defense recovers, they simply decline the penalty. This is not what occurred. It was a forced fumble, recovered by Hunt and advanced for a first down. A good play nullified by a stupid rule.

Save yourself grief and don’t. If they can’t win against a depleted 1- 13 jets team they have no chance against the steelers.. Typical Browns.. Our actual team resides in Baltimore with 2 Superbowl trophies..

I agree totally, Kevin was out coached.. The game plan was a flop.. So much for using are best players.. Where was hunt the whole game… The dropped passes, and the fumbles killed us…

They should have concentrated the pass game on the running backs and tight ends in the 2nd half. Making that sort of adjustment is what coaches are supposed to do when their game plans aren’t working out.
