BEREA, Ohio — The Cleveland Browns do not know who will start at quarterback Sunday against the New England Patriots.

Browns coach Rob Chudzinski said all possibilities are open after Brandon Weeden was diagnosed with a concussion following Sunday’s loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Chudzinski said Weeden was in the building Monday morning and was sent home. Weeden cannot play until he passes the league-mandated concussion tests.

Jason Campbell, who missed the Jaguars game with a concussion, has been cleared for activity but not to practice, Chudzinski said.

Chudzinski said the next day or two will determine if Campbell can practice or play against the Patriots. He also acknowledged that there is a possibility that Alex Tanney may have to start.

Tanney was signed by the Browns a week ago off the Dallas Cowboys‘ practice squad.

Weeden had an up-and-down game against Jacksonville, throwing for 370 yards, three touchdowns, two interceptions and a lost fumble.

The three turnovers all occurred in the final 1:19 of the first half, which gave the Jaguars 13 points.
