Very refreshing to have Hanford Dixon (gentleman in the middle) as a host as he doesn’t toe entirely the company line and thus offers up realistic assessments instead of the unquestioning rah rah rah! Hope for more of this programming.

Mayfield wasn’t AVERAGE, he was INJURED. He damn sure played well enough to BEAT BOTH KAN and the LAC, but the DEF GAVE UP damn near 60 PTS in the 2nd H. They also SHOULD have beaten BAL, but the DEF allowed Jackson to OUTRUSH the entire TEAM, they should have beaten PIT, but the DEF GAVE UP the 4th DN TD, and lets not forget about the game started by Mullens, he put CLE in the lead late, only to watch the DEF come out and GIVE UP the GAME WINNING FG, that put Carr in the Playoffs for the1st time in his career. Mayfield just needed to get HEALTHY, and he WASNT the only guy INJURED.

Brissett isn’t going to be running the SAME OFF as Dobbs, and Watson, are best suited to run. Brissett being HEALTHY, isn’t the KEY to CLE season. What he’s MANAGED, is NOT WINNING. Mayfield could go out and WIN you games. I think they’ve done a terrible disservice to Brissett, by not BETTER, PREPARING, him to PLAY. Dobbs, all preseason, has looked to be the BEST PREPARED to play.

Its not Mayfield’s FAULT that Njoku didn’t get more TGTS last season, Hooper was the FOCAL POINT at TE. Njoku when on the field, was kept in to help out in PASS PROTECTION, because Hunt, was OUT, and he played a KEY ROLE in that area, and BOTH TACKLES struggled. Lets not forget the game he had vs the LAC, 7 TGTS/7 REC 149 YDS 1 TD. So how in the hell couldnt Mayfield get him the ball? Why didn’t Stefanski make him MORE of a focal point in the OFF? He definitely gave them their most FAVORABLE matchup. The NEXT game, he ONLY was TGT 2 , while Beckham Jr, led the team with 8 TGTS. Mayfield didn’t play vs DEN, and Njoku wasn’t a part of that game plan either, why isn’t this on Stefanski?
