Getting Wills is fantastic, however he’s still a rookie. We cam’t expect him to be Joe Thomas right away. With that cap space I would love to see the Browns sign the outstanding OT Jason Peters to what would be his final NFL contract. The old guy can still play at a high level, and his addition would give the Browns championship depth in the O-line room. We have all suffered through these 21 seasons of expansion football. A winning season would be wonderful, however being one of only 4 franchises never to appear in the Super Bowl should force the expectations much higher. in 1999 when the Browns returned in expansion, the Rams went from 3-13 to Super Bowl Champions. It can be done, and this team has the talent to do it at least one time in the next 3 seasons. I’m just sayin’. It is time to bring the damned Lombardi Trophy to Cleveland. GO BROWNS!

    Bruce Sharp

Yusef Uno No, but we can expect him to be Jedrick Wills right away. Stop with the parroting of the media. No one is asking him to be Joe Thomas. If he simply is himself, that should be pretty damn good. Why would the Browns waste space and money on an almost 40 year old tackle? How would simply adding him give the Browns championship depth on the offensive line? You don’t think the Browns have considered any of this, but dismissed it? Thankfully, you are not the Browns’ GM.

@Bruce Sharp Above this same guy said we should play delpit at free safety. Like duh. Just ignore his takes. He is stupid obviously..

Yusef Uno

Play Delpit at free safety, his natural position. Karl Joseph is the strong safety. Browns lookin’ real good in the secondary. GO BROWNS!

    realdean13

was there news to suggest they would put him at ss? Would make no sense.

Trey Adams

Why do we refuse to draft Ohio State players? Jacob Phillips or Malik Harrison… SEC guy always- sick of this approach

    Brent Sander

Yeah I wanted Malik Harrison there real bad too and then Baltimore took him the pick after us 😞 crushed me

Trey Adams

Bengals have so many buckeyes on their roster. If I was fan on the edge I might be more inclined to jump off now. Know your fan base

    Trey Adams

@Kaylee Harter generally i’d agree it shouldn’t be the main reason but tell me its not a factor when kids play at Bama, LSU and Georgia. Where the kid played college ball is absolutely a huge piece to consider. Are the browns good at developing talent?? The people that don’t care if we draft OSU players are most likely fans of other schools. Ohio State has built a pro factory a short drive down 71 from their backyard – USE IT

    Mike D

Well its a good thing we drafted the guys from Alabama and LSU when we had a chance. The buckeyes are talented but that doesnt mean you pick them every time. Your link with all the best ohio state players doesnt make sense because no one team could have even had the chance to pick all those players.

    Trey Adams

@Mike D obviously – my point was they produce NFL talent like only a few schools can claim. Honestly other than taking Phillips over Harrison at LB i cant be upset with this draft. But year after year and all we have drafted is Denzel. I understand we are not all buckeye fans- just give me few more please

    Kaylee Harter

Trey Adams I mean I’d argue you have to help foster the talent of any player from any school. So, if the browns aren’t good at developing talent, then it won’t matter what school the player comes from lol. But there are other good schools who have talented players too, not just OSU. If OSU were the only school with talented players, then OSU should win the national championship every year, but they don’t. Also, I am an OSU fan. However, I can recognize and admit other schools have talented players too. I get OSU is a good school and produces good players, but other schools do too. That doesn’t mean I’m not an OSU fan, it means I’m a realist. And yes, I’d agree that the school does play a little bit of a role, but it’s not everything. That’s why you gotta scout. Make sure those players will succeed in the NFL. Just because they are good in college doesn’t always mean they will be good at the pro level.

Yusef Uno

Harrison Bryant is an impressive young man. Coach Kev puts 2 and 3 TE’s on the field a lot, so we need all the talent in the TE room as possible. The TE room is tight. GO BROWNS!
