Globo Supremo the Jets? Nah, but Sam Darnold showing his toughness and progress as an NFL QB? Yesss. As a broncos fan I think Sam would end up doing great things in Denver. O-line isn’t much better but I feel as though the Jets just have a coaching staff issue where the broncos have a coaching staff that ends up keeping them in every game even in really tough ones.

Darnold is underrated. He isn’t amazing but he is not the problem on that team, its the terrible coaching and lack of surrounding talent. Trever Lawrence won’t help them at all unless they change those other elements. I really really hope they don’t get him.

@Nye a he didn’t make ryan tannehill good he almost destroyed his career. Look at Ryan Tannehill now on a team that isn’t trying to sabotage his career. He’s not putting up monster numbers but he’s leading his team to wins against formidable teams.

@Cameron Davis he had one off season with the Titans before he got so good, he was a receiver in College, do you really think he could have learned the mechanics, the intangibles and all that in such short time? He learned it in Miami.

@Nye a he learned how to run for his life every play with Gase in Miami so when he got to the Titans and had more than 2 seconds to throw the ball it was like an eternity. If you want to call that development then go ahead.

The dude nearly kicked a 70 yard field goal in the dirt at Oakland baseball stadium and still doesn’t get any respect. Broncos have gotten more final second wins out of McManus than any other kicker they have had and they have had legendary kickers like Matt Prater and Jason Elam.

Joe Flacco is only good for like the last two minutes of the game. Denver already got a taste of it and Joe plays like a whole new player when there’s 2 mins left on the clock. But then he relies on an already tired defense and they lose a close one all because Joe doesn’t want to play the whole game.

@Boss of the Bosses No, we went to the AFC championship 3 times since I can remember. In one season we beat the Pats in the playoffs but lost to steelers in AFC championship game. So, contrary to popular perception the Jets have not sucked for the last 2 decades continuously. We had our days in the sun.

And not to be a biased broncos fan, but Rypien is actually reallyy smart. The dude was even talking about coverages the Jets were pulling and how he would call certain plays just to battle that coverage. Sam Darnold is extremely talented, he showed that tonight. But he definitely needs more help, and his coaching is the main bane of that. There’s Denver fans talking about how terrible our coaching staff is right now and yet they are ALWAYS in every game they play, not because of the players they have, but the strategies and the will of the entirety of the team they have right now. Like you said Sam looks like he’s doing everything out there, everyone keeps saying he’s a pocket passer and yet he has no pocket and has ran multiple times to get first downs himself. That’s not a good sign for a QB. That shows lack of judgement by the offensive coordinator, and lack of teaching from the QB coach to teach him all of his options on every play. Broncos are not desirable at the moment but they are nowhere near the disfunction of the Jets. The team shows the product the coaches are putting out on the field because in all honesty Jets had better players out there tonight, Sam Darnold is obviously the more talented QB but the coaching staff is holding them back entirely. Also Joe Flacco is a bad luck charm so that can also be a factor in the Jets downfall lol

I was watching and Gase called that 3 yard pattern on 3rd and 30…yeah, as a Phins fan, I don’t miss that guy.

99% of fan sentiment say it’s Gase that’s the problem with the Jets’ offense, it’s not. There is no talent at WR for the Jets, on the occasion Jet receivers catch the ball, they’re more often than not tackled at the spot of the catch. Criminal that Douglas let this team enter the season so receiver-poor.

h d but receivers dropping the ball can also be the wr coaching staff that Gase personally hired. There was one pats receiver, I don’t remember the name, but he dropped almost everything coming his way last year, everyone said he was nothing but a bust for dropping every pass Tom threw his way. And yet this season he is their top 1 or 2 receiver and looks like he never even had that first season. It ALL depends on coaching. The players response to that is also valuable but almost all of these guys want to play ball. Under a certain coaching staff that love for the game can fade completely. Look what the colts did to Luck, look what the fins did to Matt Moore and many other players under Gase, look at what the rams and chiefs did to Foles! A bad coaching staff can make your love and will for the game fade. It’s always nice to see players get a second chance with another team. While yes receivers dropping balls is bad on their part, the coaching staff isn’t doing their job into making sure they are making that their top priority.

He’s only still in the league because he’s Adam gase’s guy, Gore and Kalen Ballage just follow Gase around
