They did chunk plays! The one to Sutton for interference was one of the chunk plays. When you combine that w RW’s legs it opens up the mid level game. The more we can adjust to Seattle Seahawks game we see the better results we will have. We will see us winning more! We need to help the O line and really focus on that and Coaching on off season!
In 2020 Seattle O line ranked 14th and Wilson still took 47 sacks and he’s only getting older every season. It’s not the O line

@Angela Ventura no. That’s why I showed that stat. His line ranked 14th and that year he was still 30th in sacks. Why did 18 quarterbacks have a worse line that year, but only two QB’S took more sacks? It’s Wilson’s play. He will always take sacks. Does not matter if the line is good or bad. No line in the league is expected to block for 5+ seconds every pass play

Seriously Denver fans? As soon as Seattle paid Wilson they never got back to the Superbowl. Actually they could only win one playoff game after. @Michael Stewart As a Broncos fan you said it perfectly. This GM made multiple horrendous decisions. Played around the thought of obtaining Aaron Rodgers so getting his qb coach would lure in Rodgers. All the coaches he interviewed a handful are in the playoffs this year. I know lots of us here in Denver were wondering why are we paying so much for Russ with draft picks and with an extended contract. This all comes down to being desperate and miss hitting in the draft. Josh Allen plying up in Wyoming wanted to play for Broncos came down to watch Broncos games.
But on that draft in 18′ Broncos passed him by for Chubb. Two picks later going to Buffalo. These mistakes add up and they made this trade to erase mistakes from the pass instead they made this trade , a bigger mistake
@TheRealETP I know the contract and cap we’re strapped with buy I still would draft a qb . Wilson is going to get paid piece of crap but you need a good product on the field

Thank you for finally acknowledging how bad the O-line has been this year and everyone that has been dogging on Russ for how bad he has played ( which he has) but for a career high in sacks just shows how he has been under more pressure from the defense than he has his entire career

The O-line even with its injuries held up fine . Russ was watching every route he does not have a quick strike and when he tried it was batted down why? Cause he’s eyes are locked in to that receiver and gives time for it to get batted down 4 times in the game. Why the excuses for Russ he’s 34 already peaked and Broncos overpayed .
@John McClean how could you possibly say the O-line held up fine and then say the ball gets batted down in the same sentence, it’s there job to be engaged with the D-line so that they aren’t able to get their hands up so much and jump in the air so easily. Along with the numerous times Russ was running for his life or had to duck or Run as soon as his back foot hit the ground on his drop back to set up and throw.
How could you say the O-line held up fine after every analysis agreed, and coach that the Oline had to play better. No matter what Russ age is or how much the Broncos payed for him.
Why defend a horrible O-line?
@bodryb it’s batted down cause your quarter billion quarterback can’t see down the middle of the field. He lost his footwork that made a qb to move in the pocket to find open receviers. He was tapping that ball in the pocket . Lots of time the only time he had to run or take the sack is when they bring the” house”.
The line did well with run blocking . Broncos for most of the game on offense were facing 2 and 5 – 3rd and 2
Short routes to the sidelines is all he could produce. Enough of this fix Russ garbage the guy doesn’t fit and paid as the second highest contract in the league ???? Really really look at all the backups play this weekend any of them would be better. Do you realize how much was given up to have this ..a haul of starting players plus draft picks. The GM failed not Russ fault it is what it is. He picked Hackett and made this trade which is going down as the worst in pro sports. The analysis your talking about are the third team announcers who know nothing . They are not going to bash Russ the whole game. Those announcers always showed how he missed every broncos receiver going across the middle not just last game I’m talking the whole season. He sees the open guy looks to his second option then goes back to throw to his back coming out the back field lots of time to survey the field.
Broncos gather your draft picks stock pile them for the following year . Get your quarterback dump this like a bad memory don’t look back

I would be happy that we played better, but either way it doesn’t matter, we traded away several first round picks for Wilson. So guess what, Seahawks will get better choices regardless of how much we suck. The Broncos are going to suck at minimum until 2024-2025 season.

when you go to kc you have to beat the chiefs and the referees they are bought off by kc.

That o-line is terrible. If we can add to that line and get some receivers who can create, I think Russ could do something.

Many fans will make every excuse for Russ. He had a horrible season, but the media attack and the two games against KC who is one of the worst defenses in the NFL and who make Davis Mills look like a franchise QB two weeks ago, made fans forget about everything bad about the season. The fans are really desperate for something.
If that call was made on the last play, we would came back and won the game.
