Remember one thing, guys: Denver’s C-suite has a fiduciary responsibility to carefully manage the second round pick they spent on Drew Lock. That means giving him enough playing time to see where he’s really at — right now. No more sniping about a pick here or a fumble there in limited playing time. He needs all the reps in practice and to start the remaining games this season. If he has truly developed, they’ll see it. If not, they need to enhance his value for a trade. If Paton, Ellis, Fangio and company fail to handle this company asset properly, they should be held accountable. Fiduciary responsibility. Remember those words. You don’t just throw away a second round pick. It has value. You work hard to see that the Broncos benefit from its value by developing the player or by creating equal value or more for the player in a trade. Play Lock now. See what you’ve got by letting him get all the reps and play the final three games. That’s what an organization that is smart and fundamentally sound does.

These guys just can’t do it when they HAVE to. They’ve shot themselves in the foot 3 or 4 times like this, they just don’t have the drive/heart to win the real games (the offense anyway). Let’s not blame this loss only on Locks fumble, there were some key dropped passes as well. Hope Teddy is okay, hate to see him go out like that.
