@sui87generis rypien is garbage man he’s a guy you hope never has to play. Smart kid and probably a future coach but he’s not a nfl quarterback or back up. He’s always throwing what should be ints

@sui87generis Trevor was better than rypien as far as back up quality…. I could live with Trevor coming in for 2-3-4 games and going 2-2 but rypien is pretty much guaranteed to go 0-4 in that span unless the team is pathetic

Jonas Griffith can never stay healthy man he didn’t last two play’s vs the back ups…….. he wouldn’t a lasted a regular season game either. Very unfortunate he can’t stay healthy.
and he always seems to injure himself rather than by another player. looks like he overextended his elbow trying to make a big play (on the 2nd play of the game no less) dude needs to stop trying to do too much. in fact, most of the injuries weve had to top players the last few years have been players injuring themselves trying to do too much.
Josh Johnson looks really good. I think that the competition for backup QB is over already. Rypien will be on the practice squad.

I really hope we don’t play Russ at all in the pre season. This team has just been way too cursed with injuries post SB50. Russ is a top tier, blue chip future hall of fame super bowl winning QB. Does he really need 20 snaps in a pre season game? Anyway the boys played amazing last night super happy for them. Wish we could keep all 90 but unfortunately that’s not how it works. Maybe the 5 that are being cut will get picked up somewhere else!

The run game looked terrible. That’s the one thing they need to improve on. Other than that the special teams looked good and the clock management looked much better. Glad we can depend on a head coach that knows what he’s doing unlike Vic Vangio
Yeah blocking scheme and execution for the running game for Broncos needs serious work. You don’t want to become one dimensional. Broncos D linemen also were getting gashed up the middle. Hope the starters can hold their own better than that or it will be a long season. Amateur game callers didn’t tell us who was even playing on either line so hard to know. Defensive backfield backups looked pretty good. Johnson was totally staring down his receivers in shorter passes while Ripien looked more comfortable but then Johnson made more plays. Give Ripien a chance first next game but if he doesn’t show big he will be stashed or let go. Broncos will need another linebacker.

I llike Rypien BUT, Johnson is the MAN, getting cut so many times, has Improved Jonson, the Broncos looked good, but I am not a firm believer in “China Doll” players that stay out of this pre season games….GO BRONCOS 2022!
I would stick with Rypien, he’s a player coach ala Kubiak. He had a near 100 yard drive and should have been a TD drive had the running back (can’t remember the name) didn’t follow his blocking.
the broncos made LOTS of mistakes last night and STILL dominated. good sign. JUST STAY HEALTHY!!!!! im so sick of these freak injuries to top players.
I thought Brett Rypien was having a better camp, but I think it’s clear Josh should be the backup. Leaving 17 points on the board vs 0 is a big deal when you’re fighting for a job.
