He’s a very smart guy. I hope he can keep improving because Special Teams can be the difference in the playoffs because teams are so evenly matched. How many times has a team got the ball first in OT and ended up going three and out and then the returner breaks one past the fifty and close to field goal range after the punt. And then a few running plays later and they’re kicking the game winning fg. He could be a hero in the playoffs so I hope he gets all the touches he can because the more chances he gets the more experience he gets. Special Teams players are usually the highest scoring players on the team and it’s usually a fg that’s the difference in the playoffs so any advantage we can get in that part of the game is super valuable.
Field position is definitely a big part of success in the post-season. A team with 3 balanced phases is tough to beat.

Was crazy seeing him get some nice returns in. Every time he usually catches the ball he gets lit up. At least he always held on. Way better than that last guy, whatever his name was.
Honestly before I got down on Covey, at the start of the season I was wondering why the other team was getting up so fast on him. I was like damn did NFL players get faster 😂
Now I see that he does have the talent. The ST just sucked getting down fast and blocking. They had the fire lit up under them for the Titans game
I hope he gets to display his receiver skills…..he spoke well to the media…sounded seasoned like he been there before
He obviously went to the Nick Sirianni school of answering questions, he goes on and on and on lol. I’m happy for him that he was able to show his skills last Sunday, he seems like a good dude and good teammate.
Would love to see kickoffs coming back to the 40&50 yard line vs 20-25 yards

I’m a huge supporter of the underdog, and at 5’8 and lightweight returner B. Covey is a guy I’m rooting for. I believe he’s going to break one.
I’m pulling for the guy, I want him to be a success story for our team. He doesn’t HAVE to return to the house, but he and the unit gets us near the 40-50, on the REG, that’s boss!
Returning kicks is great but I really enjoyed watching him as a slot receiver when he played for the Utes
