I dont get why we dont use Jones more, he has a deep threat ability that no one on this team has besides Mooney. We not use him and develop more into a better player? Are we really going to act like Dante Pettis and St Brown are that much better than Jones?
Maybe he just hasn’t shown much in practice? He was a raw player coming in, so maybe he just hasn’t learned how to run routes all that well yet. He’s a freak athlete for sure though.
Brisker, Kmet, Gordon, Jaylon Johnson, Mooney, Sanborn, Jenkins, and of course Fields. This team has a lot of young building blocks. They need a pash rush, a few o-linemen, and a few more pieces here and there and they’ll be competing for a division title. With the money and draft capital Poles has next season he should have no problem fixing damned near every problem on this team. He could literally buy the defensive and offensive linemen to be competitive next season even without the draft. Add the draft and I seriously think this team is poised to be contending for the division title by next year.
