John elway is the reason this lifelong IL resident is also a lifelong broncos fan. I did root for the bears in 85 though lol.
John Elway was my very first “Favorite Player” ever, in any sport, I have loved Elway since I was 6 and he was playing his first Super Bowl versus the Giants. I was asked by my dad before the big game who I wanted to win the game and I said the Broncos just because I liked their uniform better. My dedication to the team has never wavered and Elway is still my favorite player ever. Cheers thanks John I hope I get your autograph one day in person… I can dream too 😉
