We sure did have a game this week- did you see it? No one looked sleepy to me or Arizona. Mac Jones couldn’t give nightmares to Monsters Inc. If someone is holding your ankle, it is instinct to turn your body to get away. Taking a look at the big picture is great, but it all goes back to this: why was he holding Burns’ ankle at all? Because he thought he had the ball. Nuh-uh. A quarterback, even after being sacked, always knows where the ball is, and if Burns stripped and recovered the ball no one would have a better view of that than Jones. Anyone can react badly in a situation like this- just man up and admit it was out of frustration and apologize.
