Veach should have replied, “No. That was an accident and our personnel staff messed up. We didn’t realize these guys are so fast when we drafted them. We were targeting slow guys, but it just didn’t work out for us.”

teicher is the worst. seems he puts little to no thought or effort into his work. he made a comment the other day that Helaire wasnt an every down RB due to his small size. CEH is built like a tank at 5’7 207lbs.

I don’t believe in retiring numbers. I think they could do something like making those numbers an HONOR to wear, and ASK the ‘original guy’ if it’s OK to give a particular player their number. I think #32 is kind of like that for the Browns.

Depth was a huge factor in the postseason run. Better rotation. Give guys a rest. Didn’t have to rush people back when they were still hurting. Didn’t wear people out just getting to the tournament, like happened in years past. Lack of depth not only gets you in trouble when somebody gets hurt, but it increases the likelihood that somebody gets hurt in the first place.

OMG dude, we just did the draft and so many of these “journalists” just want to ask about Mahomes and Jones and not about the draft process or the rookies. I would stop Fielding these questions and pull a Belichick, letting them know I’ve made myself available to discuss the draft and not for questions about any ongoing contract talks with team veterans.
