@too much you literally described the broncos. Only difference between the broncos and the 49ers the last few years has been the quality of the coaching staff and more reliable qb. Denver has a new coach this year and just got a big boost at qb. They’re still in a hard division but this is the most hope I’ve had in the broncos since Peyton retired
@David Freese you misread my comment, that’s what I was saying. The defense has been good since 2015. When I said it hasn’t went anywhere I meant literally. The dominance is still there, that’s why I referenced us holding powerhouse offenses like Dallas and Cincy to under 20 points. Literally ALL we needed this year was better Qb play, and better offensive play calling
@Rasta Wise&HIGH ok I did misread. Thank you for explaining things. I had heard a bunch of of neyssyers all day and missread. I agree that all Denver needed was to score more than 20 points a game and they would have been in the playoffs. Now with Wilson and our d we have a huge chance for a title.

And even after THAT Russ has posted two more 30+ TD seasons, even a 40 TD season (2020). So your take that Russell is some mediocre QB carried by defense is everything BUT accurate. The NFC is so weak compared to the AFC. As a Bears fan, I’m happy about that…it means the NFC is much more open. We only have to deal with Rodgers, Stafford and Murray. Meanwhile, the AFC has to worry about Allen, Burrow, Herbert, Jackson, Mahomes and Wilson. Not to mention Lawrence if he actually lives up to expectations.
