Colts, listening to the fans! We believe in Sam, he did great in the preseason, and he just needs the opportunity to prove himself, this IS that opportunity!

Now I’m analytical. Sometimes a QB struggles because of the lack of talent around them (Aaron Rodgers) or the terrible coaching (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HkNpZxq80N4 is an *incredible* illustration of that). Justin Fields…?
*I **_FEEL as if_* the only real reason he’s struggling is the team & coaching. The team because only Mooney is a _possible_ downfield threat, & the coaching because they don’t call downfield plays. *Some* of the problems are Fields himself… except even those feel like he’d have corrected them if he wasn’t bored to absolute tears while in games.
If the Bears are as tired of him as the whiny fans I’d at least contact them. The Colts are honestly playing like an élite to borderline élite team at times, but like the Jets, the QB is rarely clicking with the rest of the team (with Zach Wilson being worse than Ryan. Much, much worse).
I simply can’t think of a another QB who _hasn’t_ been able to show what he can do with a decent offence. To me, Fields is like Jameis Winston, minus the clutch INTs. Without those INTs, Winston would be above average. I _could be_ wrong, but if no one gets Fields onto a decent team, we’ll never know. & if the Colts want to win now, who else is available?

My wife and I are actually coming from Atlanta to Indy to attend this upcoming game vs. Washington. Matt Ryan’s been on the downside for a few years, now. The Falcons did right to trade him. Now, it’s time for him to go ahead and retire at season’s end.
If he still gets his money from next year he probably will otherwise he might be okay being a backup for one last year, but man I did not expect his throwing power to be so bad. It comes out wobbly and soft like a DB has so much time to react to the ball if it’s anything past 20 yards
From 1998-2018 the Colts primarily had teo QBs: Peyton Manning and Andrew Lick.
From 2019 to now they have started Jacoby Brissett, Philip Rivers, Carson Wentz, Matt Ryan and now Sam Ehlinger.
Colts have had 6 different starting quarterbacks in 5 years😭
this is honestly the best thing that can happen for the colts… they need to mature a QB, the future of their franchise depends on it to build that team an Oline

Feel bad for Matt Ryan. The expectations coming into this season were super high and looked promising. Things couldn’t have gone worse for him. Most int’s/fumbles while getting pressured and sacked like crazy.

The two Westlake quarterbacks are now the #1 and #2 and this makes me happy. As a Bills fan I was extremely impressed with Sam Ehlinger in the preseason when they played us. Good luck colts and fans the rest of the season with this kid at the helm he’s gonna be good

I’d rather this happen than have him out there playing and get severely injured at his age so as much as it’s sad to see, I think this is a good move and I am excited to see what my colts do with Sam. Having the coach we have doesn’t help though he needs to be fired cause he does absolutely nothing. Every time we finally get a good lineup together, there’s always something to bring us down. 😔😤
