I dunno about best tight end in history but I have some faith in him. Hes a big guy , athletic. Ya he’s been out for 8 years but it’s not like he’s been couch potato for 8 years lol. He may only play at times but I think he will do well, even if he is just on the team for morale support .
I can’t wait to see how he does with the jags and Trevor Lawrence over the summer

@DuskThunder9 there were lots of characters, better stories being told, and more dynamic teams. We’re seeing mobile qbs establish a presence, power backs are in style again, and superteams are a trend. Seeing lots of teams that a couple years ago were terrible flourish and vice versa is exciting and brings change/ a reason to watch football.

He’s 32, hasn’t played a full season in 9 years, & never played TE. Although it sounds cool a young athlete who’s played the position since high school isn’t getting an opportunity so that the Jags can show some cronyism. I despise “woke” BS but let’s face it. @Lagos Fury yeah probably, but we’ll see. You know Logan Thomas was a QB then he went to tight end position for the WFT. He did pretty good there, tho he’s a bit younger. I see your point on Tebow not playing for quite awhile, making the transition, and hes older. Guess let’s see what happens. Not fan of him or jags, but best of luck to him and the franchise.

This isn’t inspiring this is low key pathetic and just squanders people who never had reslly had an opportunity Tim could of been done this.. there’s like 10-15 TEs who could come in and produce now when it comes to catching a football.. Tim hasn’t been tackled in 9 years.. will see if he even makes the roster.. if it’s purely off of talent and contribution to the team he shouldn’t be on the roster now a qb coach or coaching consultant maybe but Tim wants to be the center of attention how comfortable would he be sitting in a booth or just walking up and down the sideline? Probably not

Honestly…he had a super team in florida…and was instantly exposed in the NFL for having a weak arm, being inaccurate and unable to read the defense…mann the list goes on. I knew he was a bust coming out of college and I still stand by that today.

@Tony S Get it, but with the Jags history with QBs is only rivaled by the Bears. This may work in Trevor’s favour, allowing him to focus as a rookie. He doesn’t fully know (like all rooks) has no idea about the violence of the NFL. By bringing in a player who can take pressure off him, it can hopefully allow Trevor to focus on his job and not much on other things. Let’s hope this works as we would like to see it work…😊
