    @Anthony Anderson Yeah but that’s exactly what will happen. NFL deals aren’t like baseball & basketball. If Mahomes falls to like the 7th highest paid QB in 3 years and is still a stud he will demand a new contract with a HUGE signing bonus. There’s not many players like Brady who will accept less money so the team doesn’t have cap problems.

    @Happy Thoughts Terrible analogy. If I could go to another team and make 15 million/year, I wouldn’t mind taking a cut to 10 million to be on a team that wins super bowls. At the end of the day, it’s up to them to make their choice, but when they already make millions, a 50% increase does not change your lifestyle. I’m an engineer, and I’d do the same thing. I’d rather work for NASA for 70k than a generic company for 100k.

    Brady has NEVER been the GOAT in my mind. How much success would brady have had without all the CHEATING? Without all the opposing teams practices being video taped. Without all the deflating footballs. Without all the stealing of other teams signals? And those are just the situations that they got caught in. Who knows how much cheating they got away with.
