    And the mascot!!!!!!

    I want the truth

You don’t wanna fire your coach. You need some players in draft.

G G

Smith tried to get cute and called the game like he was playing Madden. The time that they needed Mariota to win the game the only way he could they didn’t let him

    Antwanh5

This is the only take away from this game that needs to headline. It’s hard to win in the NFL, everybody is good. They should’ve ran that ball 4 times in a row. Now. The play that was called was there. It was wide open. Easy pitch and catch for a TD but they made a play and the ball went right to them. Only way to control that is to run the ball.

    G G

@Antwanh5 right! They keep saying it was a good call after the fact because Patterson was open but he wasn’t or they couldn’t have made a play

    Antwanh5

@G G no I do think he was open. Dude just threw his hand up and got lucky. Just bad luck

Robert Hardee

Give Smith&Co a chance I say. He has only been here a little over 1.5yrs. I am sick of the “bench him and fire him” mantra. You don’t hear it around the league with other teams that are struggling like you do with my beloved Falcons. Have some faith and patience. Smith&Co aren’t going anywhere so maybe some “fans”need to find another team to put down&criticize!

    Antwanh5

Agreed. This is one of the strangest fanbases the NFL. THE Falcons were projected to win 2-5 games this year. They blame people who shouldn’t be blamed. They follow and trust media narratives. It’s weird. They don’t support the team.

    Helen Bridges

I am not putting them down telling the truth and that’s what Smith needs

    Helen Bridges

Faith and patience? Faith without works is dead. It doesn’t take 1.5 years to realize that what is working good for you than like running then run it in you got 4 tries why give up 4 tries for 1stupid pass to end it all don’t blame it on defense Smith should never call that play knowing done well Marcus pass is better than throwing

    Helen Bridges

@Antwanh5 It’s not the fan base how you like being embarrassed every game creating news embarrassing ways to lose we have to hear this every lost game. Marcus throwing hail mary on the ground for an interception, fumble recovery to fumble it back for no reason, letting the other team take the ball out of your hand and run it back for a touchdown. We as fans feels bad for our players having to lose because of bad decisions and coach act like he don’t know what’s up.. I glad Tampa lost and hope they lose more. That’s what rivalry do

    Ant Johnson

a good fan doesnt set back for year after year and assume that our coach is going to make a good call at the 2 yard line…

Jo01

Arthur smith should not have called a pass play on 2nd down, Washington had no timeouts, Falcons had all of theirs. Even if it was a touchdown, plenty of time for them to go get a FG to win.

The team’s weakness is it’s pass game. You put the ball in the hands of your weakness and it failed you. End of discussion.

    Heaven11

No the throw was the correct read literally just got tipped . 2nd and 10 yards y’all crying about running yet the Washing Dline was stopping the run on that drive. Give credit Washington came to play in a must win for them at home. Falcons were never wildcard team but can still take the division

dt chevy 73

worst organization in sports especially coaches

ali Conteh

I am still so mad at this game yesterday man. I mean how is it that we were already in FG range with 4 potential attempts to get a TD and then decide to use a pass play instead of running the ball to Patterson or Allegeier? That was the stupidest move to make and ruined our chances to tie and win while preventing Washington from scoring.

J

We should be #1 in the league for rushing right now hands down.

FalconsFan

I think we need a better connection, Mariota doesn’t know his receivers because we never pass he can’t get better without passing

@Steveefree

running wide or passing with a running team never goes well — ram if off tackle or between the guard and tackle.
