He’s a pro bowler, that franchise doesn’t know what they’re doing, straight up, I would’ve never have gotten Watsun, I would’ve went out and picked up Devante Adams, or traded some picks and players for an early draft pick, this draft was loaded with receivers,
He still deserves a chance to be a starter in my opinion. Led none other then the Browns to there first playoff win in over 20 years. He played most of the season last year injured which made him look much worse then he is. Best of luck to him

Baker better be lucky that he got most of the bread from hulu or what not. When you’re in the NFL, you gotta make adjustments to earn more money because you’ll never know when your NFL career might end at any given time. Most dudes that play in the NFL don’t get to see most of the money they make before their retirement.
Now, the Panthers have some real QB competition going on in training camp. Sam Darnold has been so inconsistent with his decision making, so it’s gonna be Baker’s spot to lose in Charlotte

Coming from a Browns fan, I hope he comes out week 1 and dots us up for how they did him. Bakers not a bad player. I’ve watched him for 4 years play his heart out and leave it all on the field. No other qb in the league would have played last year with the injuries he had. People seem to forget he was one of the best qbs the second half of 2020 and was doing great till he suffered the shoulder injury this year.
@Jaepster steelers also have a very good coach. Don’t sleep on the Steelers..D Watson, even if he plays…Browns were built to run…he’s a QB that throws 40x/game…bad combo…can’t do both…last season 4-6 starters were out almost every game, with Baker playing injured most of the season..besides, D will get suspended….teams will play the run every play with Brissett QB…wouldnt look forward to this season if I were u

Even John Elway would of had his struggles if he had to go through 4 different head coaches in 4 years, no true number 1 receiver (OBJ has not been one for 4 years). Also, I think you forget Tim Couch could have been a hall of famer had he had any protection at all.

They weren’t running enough. I’m sorry but with an injured QB and arguably the best duo of Running Backs in the league. He played as well as his injuries let him, but he wasn’t really given a lot of help.
He went to my high school and gives speeches at our camps and was recently talking about how he might be traded to the Panthers I’m just so excited for this new opportunity for him
I am not a Panthers fan but I hope Mayfield or Darnold can revive their careers.

He is one of the quarterbacks that gets trashed in for being committed to his teams success even through injury he may not be Josh Allen but he is an excellent QB glad he’s going somewhere he’ll be welcomed and appreciated

From a seahawks fan, just know that russ ain’t the same old russ that you and I used to know. Russ is basically the black version of drew lock. We literally gave y’all another drew lock lmao. Good luck with him but I’m glad that we had our best draft this year so far.

All the best Baker . Baker brought me my first memories of American football , I’m from South Africa so American Football is not that popular . My first game that I ever watched was Georgia vs Sooners in the Rose bowl , what an insane game . I became a browns fan because of Baker , I will remain a member of the Dawg pound but I will miss seeing him suit up for us . GOD BLESS YOU BAKER , THANKS FOR MEMORIES.
Great to see that Baker had finally found a new home, he is nothing short of amazing and has done more in Cleveland than any other QB has in the last 20 yrs. I feel Baker is just getting started, he’s not perfect and he definitely has talent but needs to be around those who can really help bring out his talents and can work with him. Cleveland just made the worst trade deal in history guaranteeing all that money for someone who hasn’t even proven himself to be among the best along with all the other ongoing issues at hand…. all I can say is screw the Brown’s and I hope the Panther’s really take off now with Baker who is clearly an upgrade over Darnold. My days of pulling for the Brown’s with Baker are over.
