Brandon Staley Recaps 2022 Season | LA Chargers

Brandon Staley is a pathetic FKin excuse for an NFL head coach. His garbage decisions 100% cost the Chargers 4 games last season. Especially the late in season game that would have completed the sweep of the Chiefs and won the AFC West. Not to mention Staley cost them the final game of season against Raiders which kept Chargers out of the playoffs. Now this season the dumb MTR FKR cost them 3 more regular season games and he cost them the playoff game against the Jaguars. The offensive coordinator and QB coach didn’t lose the game. Brandon Staley who is supposed to be a defensive genius gave away a 27-0 lead. Don’t even get me started about him playing starters in a meaningless final game of season. Which resulted in a few players being injured. Brandon Staley is a smug little weasel. He never takes any blame and always makes excuses for his moronic coaching decisions. Someone should slap that stupid/smug look off his face. The Chargers owner Dean Spanos should be forced to sell the Chargers by the NFL. He is a cheap MTR FKR and has been a pathetic owner for the past 20 years.

@ceelos 21 On offense he’s not calling plays. But he watched the offensive calls being played game after game & did nothing. He did call defensive plays. Over 2 years, near last in the nfl. When he played herbert in the meaningless quarters & never even recognized his mistake, he lost me. Good talker though. (“Offense that mirrors our defense”? Did he just say that? What defense is he referring to?)

@Bryant Paz Game changed when Kenneth Murray took out Vato on a ruthless friendly fire tackle. We couldn’t cover press. That why there were big throws down the field. That would’ve been Vato down there going toe to toe with Jags receivers.

@COACHTY1 We need two more speed guys to stretch the field. Having only Jalen Guyton as our only speed option is just not enough.

He basically said speed is neutralized when you know where it’s going….and that’s 💯 percent true. Look at the 🐬 game. Tyreek had one big play but that was more of a contested catch. Chargers contested everything deep and in the middle of the field.

So yeah, speed is very valuable to have to in an offense and while
I don’t agree entirely with having to have balance in the run and pass game, you can generate big plays if you’re able to stretch people horizontally and vertically.

To his point, if you have a good run game, it can allow play action to where the LB’s move up and there’s openings in certain holes in a zone that create big plays.

Jags comeback was basically an anomaly, those type of things always fall on us.

I agree it will be another disappointing year with goofy Staley

I had faith in him these two years but dude keeps making the dumbest mistakes like calling a timeout against the raiders last yr and not putting our backups that led to williams and bosa injury,idc about that 27-0 lead but the other two mistakes cost us the playoffs and more i dont have hope that he will be perfect next yr pr make any dumb mistakes like he has done in the past

@Iisa Cruz we didnt get better,our players all had lower stats and #s than last yr ,if u mean record of 10-7 is improving it’s really not hard to understand that we had easy opponents this year leading to that 10-7.Next yr for sure will be 10x harder but im still rooting for Herbie no matter what…. this organization not so much

i agree. he looked anxious when in the pocket, even with real good protection. i think it was because lombardi was keeping him in a 20 yard prevent offense box. that way the coverage was all over every receiver. couldn’t lombardi have allen run across the field on a first down type route and then turn up field for a bomb. herbert could have pump-faked and it would be an ez 7. would also open the field and keep the dbs off the receivers.

we were worse than the past two yrs dude what r u on 😂only reason we made the playoffs was cuz we had an easy schedule watch next yr how far we make it and see if Staley has a better record of 10-7 knowing we face some tough opponents!! be realistic dude we all hate it

@Brosas In my 40 years as a Chargers fan, as of right now, I’d pick Brees. But Herbert is really close. Sad AJ Smith robbed this fan base of Brees and Marty combination!

@Mark VanDenBeckens Thanks for the feedback! Im at 24 years in my Chargers fan journey. Definitely taught me lessons and perseverance but I believe Im on the right road. Marty was Football and football only. That team with LT where we were 14-2 and then you see the patterns. Along the way I saw someone say if Herbert left like Brees did he’d get a superbowl.

While analyzing my thoughts I said to myself, he doesn’t need to leave, he better not. He needs a good system and all kidding aside, im not gonna say names but it rhymes with hownership.

Now I know less years under my belt than you, but hear me out, example: Mahomes came in to a great system Andy Reid head coach, good skilled position players around him. He sounds like kermit the frog but he’s incredible as much as I hate to say it. Of course its hard to beat team like that..its like Martys chargers team..Mr. Herbert I mean the guys faced adversity more than former charger Qbs.. on numerous occasions and proved the world wrong beyond reasonable doubt with less talent/proper coaching and his stats say the rest. I do believe this definitely made Mr. Staley wake up and he’ll get the right staff. Could you imagine another outstanding qb like Mr. Herbert not getting a superbowl not even 1. Kudos to you and hang in there. You’re doing great!

@Brosas Who was Andy Read before he took it over the Eagles. Look at Belicheats record in Cleveland. Stanley got this team to the playoffs with injuries that should have crippled this team.

Let’s just make the playoffs, then worry about making the Superbowl. You can’t win something you don’t get to participate in. With that when they make it there they are really ready. We got holes on this roster that need fixed first.

I been saying that since our Bye Week. I also believe we should hire Lovie Smith as our DC…. and if Staley is fired next season than we can promote Lovie Smith to Head Coach.

Rivers doesn’t want that job. He didn’t even live in LA when he played QB. He loves living where he is and coaching HS football. Plus, he has a thousand kids he’s raising.
