I’m only going to say the future looks very bright, we have a franchise QB and a good supporting cast. I’m sad how this year turned out, and I will be waiting for training camp! Go Chargers ⚡
Future isn’t bright if they don’t go all out on defense next year. Allen is declining and will be 30 next year so only chance at a superbowl is next year cause in 2023 Allen will be 31 and won’t be the same player so they would need to replace him with a young Elite Wr. They need 2 Elite CB’s cause Davis sucks, elite edge rush help for bosa, and a bigger RB1 cause ekler isn’t the guy. We all love ekler but let’s be real we should of kept him and Gordon together cause a bigger back can get this 3rd and 1’s or 4th and goal from the 1 yards to score a TD or convert a 1st down and ekler has sucked bad at that…
@5 Star General you forgot CB. Losing Harris which is good but we should replace Davis cause he sucks also and is always picked on by teams offenses
@mohigh23 maybe cause the defensive coach has no talent on defensive. Bosa and James isn’t enough to have a great defense. He had scrubs like Harris Jr, Michael Davis, campell, tillery and others playing for his defense. No matter who the coach is you can’t make those scrubs play good😂
@Romi 2006 and 2007 chargers were the only real deal teams. But of course in 2006 loss cause a chargers player fumbled the game winning pick and in 2007 afc championship game rivers had to play with a tore acl and LT didn’t play that game🤦🏻♂️

@Kai Smith How could you like Staley’s playcalling on defense? seriously do you watch the games?what part did you like? The part where we give up 3 and 20 plus to runs because he puts 7 defenders 20 yards from the line of scrimmage?or how about taking a t.o. to get his “premium run defense ” in the game which had are best player player Derwin going in motion with a receiver,and 3 linebackers five yards off the ball not attacking?

We only won 9 games with Justin F n herbert… I’d say this tean without herbert and still staleys coaching win 4-5. Just gotta be honest. Herbert saved his neck many times
There are what?4 pro bowlers on defense? How many pieces do you need? He’s a defensive guy and the defense regressed under him. Lose 3 of the last 4 and aren’t prepared to play garbage teams like the Texans, Broncos, Raiders and. Vikings. No excuse with all the talent on this team. He should be fired.
Love that he took the time to address the fans for almost an hour….still struggling with some of the decisions this season that went beyond aggressive or even logical….KC game was ours had we kicked even a couple field goals…had we shown up for the Texans, we’re in the tournament…Herbert is an absolute stud and soo much potential….looking forward to next seasons and what Staley does in the off season…usual feeling though as a life long Chargers fan…

This reminds me of the cardinals in 2020. Choked and missed the playoffs, but this will motivate the team to get better and become real championship contenders.
I think you mean the Colts of 2021. All they had to do was win against the worst team in the league and they were in. They had two cracks at it too and lost them both.
Well the cardinals are frauds this season so I don’t think that’s a good thing to look forward too.
Obviously need more speed at wideout. So many of Herbert’s throws were contested and tight throwing windows. More speed forces DB to back off to create separation and speed also allows you separate away from defender and have bigger throwing windows. Plus take advantage of Herbert’s big arm
They also need to catch the damn ball! I love Keenan but man he dropped too many dimes this year
We can’t have multiple dropped passes every game and expect to be a winning team.

Love this coach. Best chargers coach since Marty. 2 more wins than last season in 2 brand new systems (offense/defense). Couple hiccups but overall saw tremendous improvement in several players. Beef up the defense and improve the right side of the oline. Add speed to the wr room and depth to the linebacker and secondary. Add a downhill power rb. Easier said than done but we can accomplish a lot of it this off-season. Solid first season coach keep grinding. #OURWAY ✊💪⚡️⚡️⚡️

@Reality Check he’s not even better than A.Lynn lol Lynn first 2 seasons 9-7 and 12-4 3rd year everyone was injured 5-11 and his last year 7-9 covid season and he lost his locker room. Lynn posted a 12-4 season 3rd best season in chargers history.
I want to see the Chargers make some big moves. This isn’t the time to skimp on chump talent during the off-season. We’ve got to get this right in 2022.

We did good for a year with all new staff and scheme, as well as a first year head coach. All though I was not happy with some of the calls coach made I’m extremely excited for what the future holds. ⚡️⚡️

This year really hurts, we were in the playoff picture 90 percent of the season! For us to be out because a few plays absolutely hurts we should of finished 11-6 easily!

As a first-year coach, Staley did an amazing job bringing along a team that had zero focus. Work needs to be done, for sure, but with Telesco and Staley working together, oh, how I think this team will be the team to beat for years to come. Hate that the season is over for them but onto free agency and the draft. Bolt Up, it’s just going to get better from here on out.
I think the Charger that has the most to learn during off-season is Coach Staley.
