Life is great, Staley was left in Jacksonville, Sean Payton just renovated his new office at SoFi. Hoping I’m still upset about that embarrassment last night? @Andrew Ortega I am surprised Herbert had any completions with the defense in his face every time he threw. As for the OC it looks like he was brought up under Mario Crystabol who did his best to get Herbert drafted in the third round.
I don’t think Staley is a bad coach but he can’t stay after this. I’m sick from this embarrassing loss. I’m proud of Staley benching Bosa after he cost us 5 points tonight. At least we will be rid of Lombardi though. Lets get herbert a good offensive coach

Taking it from a Steelers fan. Wanting a new OC for a talent QB is like the new norm. The run game should of iced that one for you guys. Defensively, the turnovers will make the highlight but it looked like some blown assignments as well. Sorry the loss man. I love Keenan Allen. Always been a fan of his.

@James Ruhland the chargers had a better team with lesser players with Anthony Lynn at head coach and that was with a lot of injuries and he made some dumb decisions from time to time but not like Staley. So yes moving on from Staley and more importantly Lombardi to someone who knows and understands game management and good offensive play calling. The chargers easily have a championship roster but they lack competent coaching. Literally look at the opposing team in Doug Pederson and what he’s been able to do or Campbell with the Lions. If they have Payton I guarantee they’ll be a top 3 AFC team.

@Shanav m Sean lives here in L.A. and has stated his preferred destination would be the Chargers, this unfortunately comes down to 2 things:
1. Dean Spanos
2. Tom Telesco
They ultimately hold Staley’s career in their hands, I would prefer Spanos to fire Tom Telesco as he as a GM has been disappointing. Tom’s choices for HC’s has always been questionable, as in hiring Mike McCoy, Anthony Lynn, and now Brandon Staley. This trend of hiring rookie coaches has backfired numerous times, and the fanbase no longer supports his decisions.
The players won the 1st half, the coaches lost the 2nd half, and the game. The players deserve so much better than this. Absolutely atrocious coaching in the 2nd half. No excuses
@Scott Kretsch Simple explanation…… Stanley can’t bring himself to admit that it was HIS decision to loosen up the pass defense and go conservative on offense that cost them the game. Instead he spent the whole press conference basically blaming the players for not performing. I say cut him loose.

Although it did look like the defense wasn’t even trying in the second half part of the reason they played so bad is cuz their coach decided to start playing soft. 1st half they played a lot more aggressive and man on man. 2nd half they played farther away in zone and like 3-4 people on the line. Nobody on the Jaguars had any pressure in the second half whatsoever.
@Scott Kretsch yes, the jaguars didn’t change a ton but, guess who did? the Chargers. They started playing zone and 5 yards back from the receivers. If you watch the games in the second half they always start playing soft like they don’t care. Head coach and offensive coordinator need to be fired if the Chargers wanna go anywhere.
Painful way to end the season. We unfortunately proved all the trolls right and it’s gonna be a long off-season. Still have some appreciation for Staley and don’t think he’s totally awful as a coach, but it’s gonna be very hard to overlook this game if we bring him back or not. Still love this team no matter how numb I feel ⚡️
@CJ Curtis Staley brought in Lombardi. We have had this issue of offense not scoring in the second half all season. Staley kept Lombardi till this embarrassment unfolds. You can blame Lombardi but Staley is just as much at fault too.

Losing a game when you had 5 turnovers and gave up none is a new low. I feel terrible that Asante Samuels career game is an afterthought to a historic loss. The inability to run the ball more than 3 yards per play and their inability to do anything productive in the 3rd quarter all season long finally came back to haunt them.

@Carlos A they needed to close the game and was too confident in play including Lombardi. This was a game that should been done with us at 56 and them at 17, period. Justin missed 2 TD with PALMER and Keenan. This guy has thrown dots…………… and he didn’t this time when we needed the most. Then you got defense sleeping in the entire 2nd half. Smh bro, wtf is going on. When we were up, wife and I was happy then scared. I’ve been a Chargers fan since 1977, god knows why, but this is the final straw, if Staley or Lombardi are allowed to touch this team again I’m out. If Herbert leaves Chargers, I’m following him wherever he goes.

When Staley was asked what he told his players going into the second half, he said,”we felt like we didn’t even play our best football.” When I heard that, I knew it wasn’t received by the players. The message all of us Charger fans are looking to be relayed is, “FINISH!!!!!” Terrible culture.

I’m just stunned boys. I was at the Patriots playoff game in 07′ which was the most heartbreaking loss I’ve experienced as a die hard fan. This one is right there. Tough to swallow. Stay up my fellow die hards. We hurt together and stay with our squad no matter how tough.
