I was quite disappointed of Van Noy’s performance at first. Making him play spy and contain the outside was such a waste, especially when we still have a hard time stuffing up the middle.
But with Bosa out, the coaches were kinda forced to make him rush more and leave the dirty work in the middle to Murray and Tranquil.
Gotta say it worked out so much better. Think Van Noy has had 3 or 4 sacks now over the last 3 games?
(Drue stepping up huge this season was something great to watch. He got his Pro Bowl appearance stolen but I wish he and the team will be playing the Super Bowl instead)

Yeah I know – but in the past they always nickel and dimed deals for sheer value plays. and let big players walk. Coupon Tom couldn’t invest big money. I definitely give Telesco a lot of the credit. But this team also uncharacteristically invested a f ton into the future by stacking up star players. Just googled it, we’re looking at $284.2 million in new contracts, with $158.3 million fully guaranteed. That’s a cajones move and I’m just giving that its flowers. This is what it takes

Dean Spanos gets hate because of what he’s done and hasn’t done. He sold the team because he didn’t want to put the money up for a new stadium and once the city said no he picked up and left. He wasn’t loyal to San Diego. Then he fired a head coach after going 14-2, he hadn’t brought in no proven Head coaches just coordinators that are put their league. Mike Mccoy, Norv Turner, Anthony Lynn all sucked..

This past off-season was the first time in a LONG time he let Telesco spend some money. Look at the reason behind the hate. He’s a money hungry cheap snake

@arthur douglas AGREE….. The majority of Charger fans don’t even know that the Spanos ownership was GIVEN over $500 MILLION to help cover the majority of 2 stadium renovations. Mostly to help the Spanos ownership make a profit. YET, the Spanos rarely improved Qualcomm stadium and wouldnt even pay for a new scoreboard…lol
