2nk & 3rd & 4rth weak links are his OC , DC and ST coach”s , they ALL 3 are real bad & have let him down BIG time ! But , he hired them & he NEEDS to fire them? I’d start with Swing Pass Joe & go form there ?

I think Tillary has shown he needs less snaps. But I know Staley has a good football mind and herbie and him I trust. Bolt up.

Jerry Tillery, 9th on the team in tackles – has made 1/4 of Derwin’s total. Yet as a DL, he has only 1 more sack on the season than James.
GMs have to swallow their ego when a pick turns out to be a paycheck collector & bench, trade or drop him. Right now, he’s just a revolving door in the middle of the Chargers’ D-line.

How these coaches can watch numerous hours of film every week and say “Jerry Tillery is one of our best guys” with a straight face is just absurd
Throw more deep posts corners, and streaks, along with the slants underneath. The offense has also had some decent success with the play action roll-outs.
You don’t just throw those, If the D sets up to stop you from doing that, you go underneith. Teams have studied the Chargers adn are scared of the deep ball and they “Put a cover over the top” of it. THey will allow you the short stuff to complettely eliminate the big play.Soon as a team wants to stop the “dink-and-dunk” they will have to remove that “lid” and the big play will be there. But you don’t jsut say… “Throw more……” The D dictates what will work and if you try to force it, you will fail.
@Thumper You CAN”T stop a slant pass ! Jerry Rice made a living off those & he wasn’t fast ? Plus the middle of the field behind the DL & in front of the LB”S or safety can’t be stopped either ! 46 years of watching NFL and have yet seen it done in a game ? We have the TE”S and a great RB to run that middle & our WR should be great at slants , if we run them much ? Try some draws , they might slow down a fast defense , it’s WHAT they are made for , slowing them down? PS, the defense is UP to [STOP ] Joes swing passes , it’s NOT for our running game . Throw [ OVER } it ?

I , KNOW it’s time to FIRE the OC , he don’t have a clue ! And hasn’t ALL year long ! Look we got a Tua type playing at QB , is WHAT he’s thinking ! Justin’s arm just isn’t strong enough to throw a 10 yard pass , would break it !
Our D- line up should be, Gaziano, fehoko, jones, Bosa, Nwuso, K9, White, James, etc! Bench Tillery!⚡️⚡️⚡️
But the good news is its heading in the right direction their is still players we need to cut and get better at but couldn’t fix everything in one offseason but they did a good job on the oline just need a good right tackle a good swing tackle and gaurd depth cus storm Norton isnt that good same with Schofield
