Herb absolutely deserved a game ball for his toughness and resolve.
Honestly, Staley could give Herbert and Derwin James a game ball ever week lol, but both parties know their role in the locker room and the field, so the game balls serve to give a highlight to other players who contributed in important specific moments during the game.
@Death Cryomancer Even K Mack not getting a ball shows the ultimate respect. Herbert, Derwin, Mack…these are guys that greatness is expected from every week. That’s its own reward.

@Death Cryomancer At this point, you could probably throw Drue in the mix as well. That goal line play against Cordarelle would have been tough for ANY one in the league to make, I’m just glad Drue at least set himself up in position to try and make the stop.

Where’s Mack’s game ball? The strip saved a touchdown that would of put ATL in the lead, with momentum. That was the biggest play of the day
Is Derwin not the perfect football player/teammate? Amazing seeing how supports and lifts everybody up like he’s known em his whole life. Dicker been on the team for 2 seconds and you wouldn’t be able to tell. DJ3 is a boss.
