@Just Nate are you asking us as a fan or if we were a player? Because as a a fan, we have nothing to gain and only something to lose by winning the game. If we were in a playoff contention than that’s obviously a different story. As a player, I am all for the win. It’s there job and a lot of those guys have contracts bonuses they can make as well as make a second contract elsewhere. Not to mention, like Zach Ertz, it could have been potentially there last game in an eagles uniform. So as a player perspective, never giving up is the only option. As a fan, we want a better pick.

Look y’all, I’m just saying tanking is a disgrace. I’m sure the players played to win but Doug did not coach to win. And as a fan I would not be proud if my team sat down and lost. Like last year the “chase young bowl” the giants and redskins both played to win, and I respect that more than if we just sat down and lost.
I hope this dude plays at a high level for a few more years and retires an Eagle.
