Excited to see what Justin Herbert can do in the Playoffs 💯 LETS GO

    Robert D.

I hope it’s a lot better then his last 3 weeks are ? 2 TD”S total in 3 games is NOT going to work VRS these super teams in the NEXT round .

Boltup

So proud of this team been a fan for over 20 years. No matter what happens I will always be tuned in for every game. Every year

    fatboy5000able

FACTS even if it pisses me off

    jimmyflanagan

Been a fan since air Coryell days, Herbert would have loved playing for him

Original One

Everyone please stay healthy! Great Job Chargers!

Ryan Thomas

Yea they punched the ticket but if you think the conversation about Herbert and playoffs is over it will only get worse if Lombardi runs this offense and he looks this bad in game 1 and they get killed. That conversation will haunt us for a year.

    hokieduck

How ’bout we don’t bury the team before the first hype video comes out?

    Tony Reyes

@hokieduck Bingo. Although fans will be fans

SW365

Nobody’s open. Herbert is #1 in the league in having to throw in tight coverage. Real stat. The receivers are not getting separation. Herbert is also #1 in the league in time he has to get the ball out. The pocket closes faster than any other team. He has the least amount of time. You can see this clearly.

Ces Gal

Lumbardy is going to cause us not to advance a playoff game … we need to add more points and get better at first and second downs and at the red zone… our defense is good too good

Divide and Conquer

Haylee needs to be on a national broadcast. She’s too good to be stuck in a local market

    ⚡BOLTHEAD

lmaooo wait till you see her at training camp 😂 you will definitely revise your comment

    ants universe

    YES WE LOVE HAYLEE

    ants universe

@⚡BOLTHEAD we will tolerate no Hayley slander

    Jason Pacific

Yeah but we want to keep Haley in SoCal.. and she’s happy here

jimmyflanagan

Herbert carried this team all season on his shoulders

Arguing101

Hit the nail on the head with getting Mike Williams involved. Trusting Lombardi to put together a full 12 play dink and dunk drive and make it into the endzone (MULTIPLE TIMES) does not make us contenders. We NEED those gigantic Mike Will plays to cut the field short

    chauncey williams

Not a Lombardi fan, but the o line is horrible. Really really horrible, there is no time to get the ball downfield. Worst yet Justin is expecting pressure so he’s not waiting for WR to get open. He’s dumping it off short of the sticks. O line needs to be fixed. OC needs to be a QB coach.

    Arguing101

@chauncey williams Nah the oline is mid. Colts have a good defense. I don’t know how you can be a Chargers fan and think this OL is horrible compared to what we have had. Justin broke records with unrostered bums. Shane schemed better. Watch the all-22, he checks down because no one is open because the scheme sucks

    Tony Reyes

@chauncey williams We were sacked 10 times in the first 7 games. 27 sacks the next 8 games. The trend is horrific. Herbert is running for his life yet fans want deep plays as though our receivers have Guyton like speed.

    Tony Reyes

@Arguing101 I watch the All 22 and am seeing some beautifully design plays that Chargers fans are missing or blinded by Lombardi / Staley hate big time.

    chauncey williams

@Arguing101 Herbert has 117 league leading pressures under 2.5 seconds. No doubt Shane was better. Yet the fact is LG will be gone next year. RG has probably hit the rookie wall. RT was never addressed in the off season. Good back up at best. Plus, the injuries. They need to continue to build both lines to win a SB.

BOLT UP BABY!

The DEFENSE has shown up! Over the last three games they have balled out! Over the 1st 12 games the defense has allowed an average 372 yards per game. Over these last three games – ever since Kyle Van Noy started the players only meetings – the defense is allowing ONLY 225 yards per game! An improvement of 147 yards LESS per game!

hokieduck

I felt the exact same trepidation about Nick Foles before the game. Relief.

William Anderson

Everyone from Sports talk hosts to former players and experts have been waiting for Herbert to get into the playoffs. Only a two year absence without playing in the playoffs isn’t bad at all. So many people make a big deal of it. Now he’s in and he can start breaking playoff records. Damage the opponents Herbert & Go Chargers

Rocky The Hooligan

Keenan got robbed for a TD. That flea flicker was a great play call. Im still lost on why that wasn’t challenged… Glad to see them run more on 1st down… DJ shouldn’t have been ejected but I like where were going as we end the reg season

    Robert D.

I’m at a LOST why he EVEN got close to the side lines ? He was WIDE open & had a lot of room , to NOT go way over there to start with ?

    Jose Villalta

@Robert D. he was off balance unfortunately lol

hokieduck

EXCELLENT point, Haley, on the Denver game being an audition for Divisional and Conference tilts in cold weather.

Really good pod all around. I guess, even the Bolts media team is allowed to exhale at this point. I recall the episode after the Seahawks game. That was the closest I, personally, felt all year to giving up… and the looks on the three of your faces was the nadir of the season for this podcast also.

And the plan has worked out. The much maligned depth has stepped up. Chess players returning to the board. Season resurrected. #GoFreakingBolts

James Moss

The Chargers will make it to the super bowl this year. 😀👍🏈

JLoc777

Wild card weekend, I want that game @ JAX. Revenge game from earlier this season.
Divisional round I want KC. I know we lost twice this season but every game we’ve been there until the last second. We match up really well. Historically teams like LAC have beat teams like KC to go/continue a crazy win streak well in the playoffs.
Only thing I fear is playing in cold a** weather, Buffalo in January.
Otherwise, BOLT UP!! ⚡⚡

    Jake McDermott

Yeah I love our chances a lot more against KC rather than Buffalo

    JLoc777

@Jake McDermott I feel like KC is Indy when we had their number in the late 2000s with prime Manning.

    R C

That’s exactly what I was thinking. I believe there will be 3 revenge games:
Wildcard: at JAX (which means LAC is the 5th seed)
Divisional Round: depends if 6 or 7 advances but as a true fan of the sport, I hope we see a Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, and Herbert divisional round. Gotta beat the best to be the best.
AFC Championship: would be epic if it was a revenge game at KC
SB 57: revenge game against SF!

    chauncey williams

Difference between Chargers and KC is Andy Reid.

David W

Let’s lay off Lombardi. It’s mainly that the o-line, which has been an issue for 3-4 years. Lombardi doesn’t go deep because he doesn’t trust the o-line to hold blocks long enough to look deep. If Slater returning stabilizers things even for 2 more beats, Bolts go deep.

PureHades

Herbert is 11-0 when his defense allows 20 or less and he’s 18-4 when the defense allows 27 or less… if the defense continues to play at the caliber that it is, while getting Bosa back, we can take on anyone with Herb… he’ll give you enough… he’s rarely ever had a good defense and the games he does he barely loses…

Surfer Sandman

Fire Lombardi. He may be able to design plays, but his football IQ is terrible. Understanding the game flow and when to call certain plays is something is not good at. Every time Herbert can audible, it’s a huge gain.
