Buffalo Bills rookie quarterback Jeff Tuel will make his first career start Sunday against the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs.

Tuel, an undrafted free agent out of Washington State, will replace Thad Lewis, who has been dealing with injured ribs and the flu.

Lewis had been Buffalo’s quarterback since rookie EJ Manuel suffered a knee injury against the Cleveland Browns on Oct. 3.

Tuel made his only appearance of the season in that game against Cleveland, completing 8 of 20 passes for 80 yards and an interception.
