Bills by the Numbers – Ep. 50: How Added Offensive Weapons Can Help The Passing Game | Buffalo Bills

On this week's episode of Bills by the Numbers podcast presented by FanDuel, Chris and Steve get into the recent additions to the Bills offense with John Brown and Cole Beasley. The two discuss what those additions mean for the passing game down the stretch. Then they take a look at the drop issues this season and if the team can fix that area of concern. Steve is quizzed on quarterback on target percentage in the Numbers Game. We were joined by NFL Network's Mike Giardi to discuss how the Bills offense is different than last season. Finally the pair shared this week's picks for FanDuel's Hi-Lo game.

Can someone, anyone please tell Josh to check it down. He goes for the big play far too much putting us in 3rd and long. Look at the replays. It’s not just missing an open receiver. When the weather is that bad, you take chunks of 5-8 yards at a time. We are extremely lucky we’re struggling against poor competition. If these were playoff teams, we’d be in trouble. Play like this against Cincinnati in a couple of weeks and we’ll be playing on the road again in the latter rounds of the playoffs.

There’s a specific play the bills would run where they would quick snap it Beasley would run basically a straight line from the slot maybe just slightly toward the middle and Josh would fire it and it was automatic. Boom bam 1st down.
They would do it maybe once or twice a game in big spots. I have not seen that particular play ran once this season.

I think Josh Allen’s elbow issues are part of the drop off by the offense. He admitted the injury is something that he’ll have to deal with the rest of the season.

I just don’t think 2 really old WRs are going to ” save ” this passing offense, Josh is missing things, dighs is open ALL THE TIME especially at the top of the routes, oline hang in there

Dolphins added Bradley chubb, he is going to shred spencer brown

Kalil Shakir looked like a star the game he started. He has played a very limited part in the offense since then. He showed he deserves more minutes.

The year before the team worked together more then list last off seson. I think as the season gose on it getting better. Any one who ever played ball thing happen can catch 10 in a row then drop 3 say before next run and have to take in your watching it come in and it move an inch can though you off enoph.
