This next 5 game stretch is going to be crucial

    Ravens Fan4

It’s gonna determine how far we go in the playoffs

    Armello 1209

    Not that hard🐇

Ashofied Gaming

The o line is slightly improving every week. Dobbins needs to be the lead back tho bc he’s a dual threat. Gus could work too and Ingram looks like he’s losing a step

    Melachi Adams

Yea i agree with the 1 2 punch of gus and jk

    Mvrquise

O line wasn’t that good last game

John B.

Coach Billick we miss you! Great to see you again. Be safe you, and your family. God bless.

Bruhhhh Hollywood was wiiiide open on the first throw

    Ravens Fan4

True. Dobbins still should’ve caught it tho

    Ced

Barely had time to get the pass to Dobbins, got hit as he was throwing it. If he tries to hit Hollywood here it probably wouldn’t get there or be extremely inaccurate considering he’d have to rush it

    Jared Williams

@Ced I’m sayin – it’s a corner blitzing from tight alignment. Obviously all you can do is hit an outlet there.

    ManBearPig YT

Lamar didn’t have the time to look it was a blitz in his face

    MrJeckel

@Legend Lamar had a free runner on him. He didn’t have time to square up and throw deep. He had to throw to his checkdown in this situation. He could’ve created time by leaving JK in as a blocker. That’s the next step for lamar. He recognizes blitzes fine but rarely adjusts protections to account for them.

Felipe Maurino

Our receivers are TRASH, bring some help for the man

    Michael Osborne

Lamar needs to hit open people first

    Felipe Maurino

@Michael Osborne the problem is, that the wrcs are always not open

    Felipe Maurino

@Michael Osborne nobody is open, watch the ravens x eagles, ravens x chiefs all the games, he buys time and the receivers are still not open and he always have to run for his life

    Nicholas Caljean

@Felipe Maurino Often the wrs are too far down field to uncover during the scramble. Need more crossing routes. Conversely, this is exactly what PIT and KC are great at.

    Felipe Maurino

@Nicholas Caljean where? HAHAHA Ive saw the game against the eagles 3 times and didnt saw that

king shark

Ok… cool, we addressing this, now I’m sure all my real flockers are hitting rewind and checking all the personel and routes of the other receivers.

Especially me😊😊😊😊.
1. 1st play break down, totally get that timing play. A clear out for the rb. Buuuuuut, imagine boykins up top with that single coverage and trusting him for a high point 50/50 catch. Possible td. I would definitely scheme that.

Back to the clip.
2. Holy cow, all that was covered tight, bunched up routes, lucky that wasn’t picked, but shows Jackson can tight window.

Back to the clip…

3. Clearly shows, why no wr is wanting to come here, … look at brown just wasting speed for a clear out for Andrews, brown is pulling 3 defensive players with him. See we just using wrs to clear for tightends and open up Jackson scramble run lanes.

Back to the clip….

4. Shows soft zone vs us can be banged with respect for brown speed. Now imagine having all our wr talent on the field. … good play by Jackson to hit that soft zone.

Back to the clip.

Ok my view, we have a good qb, bad scheme. Jackson has talent, but the offensive coordinator is not putting the optimum personel on the field. He’s using skill guys just to clear out and make way for tight ends, and or a Jackson run.

Billick, you can harp on the points, but we see its gotta lot of kicker points in it, defense turnover field position in it.

We looking like regular season warriors, that’s missing deep playoff run ummph

    keef davis

Good points. And where is the offensive coordinator?

    Nicholas Caljean

I agree with the running off coverage thing. When those plays get blown up and LJ improvises the WR are too far down field to uncover during the scramble drill. That’s what PIT and KC are really great at, and theoretically we should be killing people on the scramble.

    Edit for spelling typos

    king shark

@Nicholas Caljean .. totally, dead on right.

Andrew Fung

Lamar seems like he was sidearming it too much because the balls were getting batted down and I think he was starting to change up his throwing angles

king shark

🙁 … looking at that 1st play, geez that’s got back shoulder td all day. Safety just wilds out to come down, and the lone wr has the rare air 1 on 1 no safety help coverage.

Geeez… that’s oc and qb coach job to scheme that for Lamar.

    Jared Williams

Can you make that throw in under 2 seconds? There is a corner blitz coming FREE from tight alignment. Prolly made the right throw just, they just gotta hit it.

    king shark

@Jared Williams … the play is thrown in under a second, because you have read the 1 on 1 , no safety help. It’s a simple drop and launch.

But our qb development, offensive development isnt on that level yet.

Look how wide open brown is. … this play just represents, greg scheming a wide open underneath route for Lamar, vs showing him, this underneath set up can open up the deep shot.

    Which was an opportunity for
2 wrs on this particular play.

    keef davis

    @Jared Williams
    Receiver dropped ball.
    The o.c. is lacking.

    Nightmare Kilo

@king shark I mean I believe if lamar didn’t see that blitz coming he probably would have tried to make that throw but since he saw it he threw the check down but yes I do agree with you with them wasting browns speed

    king shark

@Nightmare Kilo … I dont think the blitz was his reason to hit the rb, the play was totally for that position.

To hit that outside and or brown that would take, throwing with anticipation, trust and understanding that underneath can actually clear the deep.

But roman and the qb coach, just has Jackson obviously going, underneath reads, tight end, then take off.

One thing about all these passes, besides the tight window one is, … he’s gotta see the receiver wide open and clear, before he wants to chance the throw.

Jackson a talent, but we could use a qb whisper on staff, to level him up.

bmorefan5220

I see you Brian Billick, with those Harry Potter books on the shelf.

keef davis

0:35 – i see the receiver dropping the ball. What is coach talking about?

    Nicholas Caljean

Actually, I see a receiver running the wrong route AND dropping the ball. LJ threw so JK could keep running. JK settled into the zone, essentially running a curl instead of an angle.

keef davis

O.C. is not using his WR’s.
O.C. is playing the wrong RB’s.

Nicholas Caljean

Just clean up the penalties and catch balls that hit your hands. That’s it.

Kenron Barnes

Thank you!!! Let’s go ravens!!! 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

Fran Godi

Ravens are overrated

    La’ Garv

We only ever lost to chiefs so how

MrJeckel

I don’t want to correct a coach but… on the first play, dobbins should’ve kept running. Lamar expected him to keep running. Ingram would’ve kept running and would’ve helped convert that to a 1st down. Dobbins paused for a split second which is all it took for the throw to be off. You could see lamar telling dobbins to keep running after the play. Either way, the play would’ve been called back as there was an illegal formation called.

Lamar would’ve been able to attempt a throw to hollywood on the deep in for a potential TD if lamar had kept dobbins in to pass protect.

Mail Man tv

If Lamars line can improve and he get more comfortable in the pocket ravens will be unstoppable

Toy Soldier Ken

Billick is a real Ravens fan. Not like the trash in this fanbase
