This is a losing season, no matter how u flop it. Only bad thing is we don’t have a 1st rd pick next draft. And we’ll have to replace AR, Hicks etc
There are typically 32 players selected in the NFL Draft’s first round. How many first rounders made an impact last year? The year before? Look at the make-up of NFL teams, and the number of first round choices with their original team.
Don’t over-rate the value of the selection.

@Thomas Gena I know u find many stars in the later rounds, but still. u could also use a 1st round pick in a trade. the bears have little leverage to improve, because of current contracts, up and coming contracts, players like AR , Hicks etc, hitting FA etc. the 1st rd picks given for Khalil were worth it, imho, but who knows about the rest.

That’s the point: Pace has brought in a number of promising players, of late (Fields, Herbert, Borom, Jenkins, Gipson, etc.). Among these, only Fields was a first-round choice. The coming draft will be loaded with WRs and although the Bears won’t be active on Day #1 — that has never stopped Pace before.
He sounds like a head coach to me much more than our current head coach

If Nagy knew how to use NFL personnel the team would certainly score more than 14 points a game. Watch how well the next coach does, for proof.
ngl, i want bill’s hands on this offense, and nagy needs to stop touching the offense completely. Also, nagy does not sound like an NFL HC, but like a high school inspirational speaker. Both Lazor and Tabor at least sounded much more like a HC of an NFL team. Its hard to justify hiring anyone in house as our next HC though because this staff has struggled as a whole. Sunday looked like a totally different bears team with nagy gone, even though we lost.

Let bill take over this team and find weapons for Justin fields and teach the guys the game and then it will come together we know it will takes some time but once they receivers get it then the whole offense will get on the same page and then you would start to see it work

Coaches are smiling because they are laughing all the way to the bank. For a team with a losing record, I’ve never seen so many smiles and claps.. Ridiculous.
You’ve identified a very large part of the “problem.” No one takes any responsibility for the performance of the team. The emphasis is on “looking at the tape” and “finding the why’s.”
It’s like these coaches are writing a book review; rather than coaching an NFL football team.

By starting fields and not dalton the staff is telling the team thier more concerned with fields development than winning the vets on the team want to win this is how you lose a locker room
