Coach, I feel that your team just needs your go to bread and butter plays that score points. It was an experimental year but should have been a more limited playbook to set plays up. In my opinion a little fine tuning is the difference between a superbowl win and not making the playoffs… Today Drew Brees came in and almost took on the Chiefs to a come from behind win because he knew how to pick apart a defense and which plays to run that fed off the previous one.
Hats off to Miami … Tua, nice reads of ball choices to throw to your receivers….. Good luck against the Chiefs in the playoffs they are tough.. Congratulations coach Flores and good luck in the playoffs. You deserved this win today.
I love how Bill Belichick calls it how it is… He said we didn’t deserve this win today… thinking back to how the ball was stripped from Cam Newton and returned for a touchdown and then returned to New England when clearly it was a touchdown… Patriots are “A” Class … I remember a game against the Tampa Bay Bucs when the Patriots made a late hit against the quarterback and on the next drive they went 3 and out as if they did it on purpose because they don’t win by “give me’s” they earn their victories by beating their opponent.

The “system” always started with Tom and ended with Brady.
There’s not much talent all the way around. Last season didn’t look great with Tom, and it only got worse with covid, injuries..etc. It’s not even an excuse, it’s reality. It’s not much better than a highschool team on offense. There’s only so much coaching that can make up for lack of skill. But this is what he drafts. Great coach, mediocre GM.
How about, “ Bill you were 12-4 last year with Brady. Now you’re looking at 7-9 without Brady and probably 2-14 without Cam. Is there a reason you think you’re “greatest coach ever” looking at it without the GOAT at QB?
Hard to compare. They had one of the easiest schedules last season and one of the hardest schedules this season. Also did not have to deal with opt outs and edelman being hurt who is their only offensive weapon right now. Just because he has one bad season does not change the fact that Bill is the GOAT.
@xM xH except this isn’t just 1 year. He has coached 8 seasons without TB and he’s only made the playoffs 1 time and only had two winning seasons.

@Chris Shook So it was all Brady? Brady was the only reason Patriots had any success? I mean thats just a dumb way to think. They both benefited from each other. Brady benefited from Bill and his lights out defense early on then later Bill benefited from Bradys ability to play mistake free football. Saying one or the other is the reason for success is just plain stupid.
