Bill we know you’re human… Your disappointment was real, we appreciate you explaining. But after all these years of winning championships in great football, you didn’t need to do that… Thank you and merry Christmas
Quitter never win, winners never quit. Bill says every week he doesn’t live in the past. Doesn’t matter how many times we’ve won, we want to keep winning and we will be disappointed when we don’t, just like everyone else. Though he was nippy with the media even when they tried to spin a positive on it, certainly unnecessary. However, winning in the past has no weight on that matter.

In my book this season is a win already. Most guys are on multi year contracts. Mac will grow and get better I hope. If everything clicks well be really good, maybe get that #1 receiver. We’re still rebuilding. These next 3 games are huge though. If we make the playoffs I’m more than happy. Anything extra is icing.
Well said! I agree. If you told me after a 7-9 year last year and 2-4 start this year we would be in line for the second seed, I’d say you’re nuts! We’re one good receiver threat and maybe one more solid linebacker away from being a serious contender again! I’m happy with this year for sure!
@Boy & Birch Music I just think. Look at how cam is doing on the Panthers. I like the guy and Root for him but thank bill for getting Mac this year. I can’t imagine what it would be with cam right now.
I would love to pick up Gallup, he has star potential it just so happens that he plays with amari Cooper and ceedee lamb. He’s shown the ability to make the plays we need to be able to make to compete at a high level.
@Randy Boland amazing is a massive stretch he’s had as many good games as bad which equally average.
@SJ the panthers suck and Cam came in mid way. He has 9tds and 5 turnovers in 4 games that’s not bad. He went 7-8 last year with a CFL roster. Now in Carolina CM is hurt and the team blows. We have no idea what he would look like this year in New England.

@jay 1988 bills 4th&7 call is a great example of why I made my original point. If we have more than 1 red zone threat our chances of completing there are much higher & bill probably let’s them stay on the field. Let’s say that happens – it’s a one score game with a lot of time & were potentially having a much different discussion. With only 1 redzone threat we don’t have that option. That’s an absolute game changer IMO, that’s what allows all these QBs you mentioned to piece together game winning drives. Dak has Ceedee, amari Cooper & Gallup. Cousins has theilen & jefferson. Herbert has Keenan Allen & Mike Williams. Brady has Godwin & Evans. You get the point, our wideouts don’t even touch any of those pairs/trios. And dak has 10 interceptions this year as well.

KD went to a team that won rings before he got there and didn’t have any of his own, Brady went to the worst franchise in NFL history that hadn’t been to the playoffs in a decade. Basketball is 5 players at one time Brady has to navigate 10 other guys and hope the defense holds up. Yes Godwin and Evan are good. So are Thelan and Jefferson how are the Vikings doing? How about Hopkins and Kirk, DK and Locket, Debo and Kittle, Kennen Allen and Mike Williams, CeDe and Amari, Broncos have good WRs, Browns had odell and Landry, steelers always have good WRs Kelce and Hill. Does Brady have the best maybe but so did Jameis and he did nothing partly because Arians is a dope Jameis looks way better in New Orleans. Brady brought in Gronk and AB and Lenny so i give him credit for that not discredit. Brady had 0 training camp or pre season and had to migrate covid. KD helicoptered into the best team in basketball did the Bucs have talent shure but they didn’t do a thing with it until he got there. Did i mention he’s in his 40s 😂 he shouldn’t even be playing right now let alone being a top 3 MVP. I get it your team over Tom, Brady winning a SB his 1st year is what ever to you people. But Bill is a genious at like 67-67 without Tom makes sense. Bill spends the most money in NFL history to dig himself out and all of a sudden he’s great agen. @Jonathan yes but those teams are passing teams who also run. We are a running team that sometimes passes. We’d be wasting Evans here or a deep threat see Nelson Agalor. Just like we’re wasting Jonu. I agree we don’t have the best weapons, blame Bill for that he took Harry over DK and Brown in Tennessee. He had to spend the most money ever just to get to this point. Why isn’t Bourne a good redzone guy maybe because Mac doesn’t throw it to him. If we had an explosive offense it wouldn’t always come down to the redzone. But I’ve seen Mac miss guys down there to so you can’t put it all on them also Josh might need to call batter plays.
@jay 1988 never did I once discredit Brady, but you’re acting like what he did was some against all odds feat and it wasn’t. He’s the undisputed goat I’ll leave it at that. I also mentioned that there are probably not many plays drawn up for explosiveness like other teams bc they’re trying to get Mac to adjust. NFL defenses are much more active & quick than college defenses. Chucking deep balls all the time is an easy way to drop a rookies confidence. If all these other teams with great QBs that out together game winning drives aren’t doing well then why do we need a better qb? What would that do for us? See they all have 2+ star receivers, we barely have 1. It would take our offense to the next level. Bourne isn’t a redzone threat because he’s not great at getting open down there. When he has gotten open Mac has made some good throws to him. And yes Mac has missed some deep shots but what QB hasnt? He hasn’t even played a full season yet… when he wins us a super bowl it’s gonna be real funny when the Mac haters come around and start to love him. He has extremely high potential with his intangibles but apparently half the fan base/country wants to ignore that and focus on the bad. Did you see the deep shots he threw to get us back within striking distance? Give us a very good WR and we win those tough games. The kid rallied for 17 points in the 4th quarter after being dominated all game. No question he could’ve mounted the full comeback if he was given the opportunity.

there isnt another team that I respect more than the patriots even though im from indy and am a colts fan. I mean there isnt a team that has ever had our number like the Pats have through the years but some of both of our teams best battles have been between Indy and New England. We should all feel good about that. The Pats and the Colts have dominated this league like no other two teams ever have for such a long period of time.
Colts came out absolutely flying on defense on Saturday night…they deserved the win for sure. They were ready to go and the Pats were not. I’ll root for them over any other team in the AFC (besides the Pats) any day
Yeah the colts are nasty. The run game and o-line is insane. You guys have a great team. That being said if we played that game in NE things would have gone differently.

Sorry but Colts don’t share the stage with Patriots in terms of dominance. Colts have had many good playoff teams over the years but they were far from dominant. Many early playoff exits. One Super Bowl win versus like 5 for Patriots during same period.

Wow, in all my years, I have never seen Bill apologize for being “short” with the media. He’s been that way for years.
He was especially pissed and its actually cool to see Bill take a minute to keep it real both before that press conference and this one.

The colts just wanted it more than us. They treated it like a playoff game while we treated it like a preseason game and if you watched even the first few drives of the game, their offense was far more explosive and unpredictable then the pats. Well deserved victory for the colts.

All good! The fight in the second half was good! Was just unfortunate that we started with 75% thinking we are already going to the superbowl, while Colts came with 120% willing to do everything to go to the playoffs.
And Mac like all the other player have to trust in the game design…. best example was the flea flicker… mac didn’t trust the timing, bit it was perfect!!!
Lets go my guys stay focused and we can go far this year!!! Make it happen!!!

I love Bill and Tom’s expectations to perform well and win. When they don’t, the level of disappointment and frustration only makes them better. I have never heard Bill apologize. Merry Christmas to the media. Maybe getting old and sentimental. 😄
Remember Tom Brady had tough losses once in a while. He just got shut off by the Saints. It happens. I feel fortunate we are where we are right now. Great job coach
As a Colts fan, I admire many aspects about Bill. His drive, his knowledge of the game, and so forth.
