I feel like he still knows what hes doing regardless of the brady narrative. This season will prove it.

The guy coached the skeletal remains of Cam Newton to 7 wins with NO receivers or tight ends and a no-name defense. No other coach has been able to log a single win with Cam Newton since 2018.
Nothing screams “knows what hes doing” quite like being 71-79 without Brady and 29-58 against teams above .500. Get a clue.
You say what you want about Belichick but he’s probably forgotten more about football than any of us even know about it… he’s an absolute encyclopedia when it comes to players and football
Which is why he consistently gave Brady (and has maintained after that) a top 10 – usually top 5 – scoring defense with a set of defenders whom 90% of the league couldn’t name more than 3 of. The guy can coach better than anyone I’ve ever seen in any American sport. Just a savant of football knowledge and scouting reports on various coordinators.
But not an encyclopedia when it comes to winning super bowls without Brady and Lawrence Taylor. As a terrible general manager, he will never again sniff the big dance. He’s been exposed.
