Ultimately, these Belichick press conferences exhibit a lack of accountability on his part. Further, it’s not professional. He would be wise to heed the words of Nietzsche: Sarcasm is where the weakling and the prankster meet and they misunderstand each other.

@Trayisraw In last night’s press conference, he addressed Mike Reiss’s question (who always attempts to couch the most obvious questions in the politest terms) with a comment dripping in dismissive sarcasm, “Thank you so much for asking that question.” This act was tolerable when he was going to 9 Super Bowls in 20 years and winning a record number of consecutive division titles, but it’s going to wear thin, not just for fans like me but the Krafts too. He’s a great coach, but what’s the point of all this rancor in press conferences?
he’s being fine, he’s frustrated, they’re asking dumb questions that they’ve already got the answers to.
@Trayisraw BTW: It’s not he’s being polite doing press conferences after the game; he’s contractually obligated to do them. He has no choice or else he gets fined.
