It was obvious. Belichick didn’t have time to see it on the screen, so he took his guy’s word for it and immediately found out how dumb a decision that was.

@SpeedMasters I would disagree based on how extreme the difference is now and the fact that Belichick had 2 teams with 2 losing seasons pre Brady.. and is back to his normal losing ways post Brady. TB12 is definitely the GOAT QB and that’s undeniable.. and the basis for my comment 👍🏻

In reply im not saying get rid of him im saying he needs to change things up like he said cam isnt the problem a predictable team is the problem if you look at the cowboys they are 6/9 just like the patriots both had superbowl winning teams but because everyone knows how they play and they dont have the people to pull it off with such efficiency they cant seem to win much pls correct me if im wrong

@Ender Stine there’s no one else to turn to, he switched to Stidham for a reason. He’s not gonna let on who starts next week because it gives the Jets less to work with. He probably knows neither Qb is an answer. These coaches aren’t stupid. This is typical press conference mode, don’t let on frustration don’t tell plans. Pats have a poor offensive line, no receivers, a bunch who took Covid outs and a stop back QB solution.

as for the patriots i agree i honestly hope that next year with everyone healthy and no holdback we can see what bill can do without brady

@Ender Stine Jets have many issues besides draft if you go back and look at drafts maybe half the qb prospects pan out at best and maybe 1/4 are like Allen and panned or disregarded from the outset only to turn out to be decent or good. Their coaching situation is bad enough that you can’t even throw the towel in on Darnold for certain. I. Sure they’re look8mg st a new coach and gm and who knows if those guys will want anyone in the current draft, could be like Arizona with Kyler Murray where the new regime warned him it’s not on most people’s immediate radar but they absolutely specifically wanted him.

@Master touch A team that lost 9 starters, hugged the cap ceiling from dead money contracts such as AB, Brady, Gostkowski, and Gronk, so they couldn’t make any moves during free agency and the trade deadline, and no full training camp and preseason. That’s how. This coming off season we’ll have our starters back and over 80 mill in cap space to make changes.

@Jon Min Patriots have a lot of cap space and can easily sign a veteran qb. Maybe even bring back a guy who knows the system in Jimmy G.

@Wilson Martin A bit? He went from the worst in the league in completions to 6th overall. He’s consistently had more rushing yards than most running backs and he can throw a ball accurately while running, off his back foot, across his body, and diving onto his side. The guy is a monster now.

@Jay Bryant Yeah, he exploits soft zone coverages and hits wide open receivers well.

@Wilson Martin you gotta watch some more Bills games, he threads the needle every game, and most guys are not wide open. Lots of credit to Diggs tho, who’s going to catch anything near him regardless of where the ball is put

@Jay Bryant I’ve watched five Bills games this year. Allen torched the Dolphins 100% because Byron Jones was injured and Igbinoghene was a liability in his first NFL game ever, he struggled a little bit in the first Patriots game, the Titans shut him down with one of the most ineffective defenses in the NFL, the Niners didn’t have the personnel to run man coverage effectively and were leaving Diggs, Beasley, and Akins open all over the field, and the Patriots were complete trash last night outside of JC Jackson. He’s better than in the past and has been working hard, but he’s not Aaron Rodgers all of the sudden.

Nah, he knows were just tanking at this point. Got a QB that cant hit a planet, WRs that cant catch. He cant go on a rampage of how bad the offense is
