Disagree man, should at least given him another year the man wants to win..winning is all that matters in football..coaches and players too soft and liberal

@Mark Conner I disagree with you as well. The wins and losses were not a factor in Meyer’s firing and there’s plenty of NFL coaches who coach their players hard. The difference with Meyer is that he wasn’t practicing what he was preaching to his players and he treated his adult and professional football players like the young college football players he coached in college football (that doesn’t fly in the NFL) and wasn’t making the necessary adjustments from being a college head coach into an NFL head coach as he should’ve done. Meyer was downright incompetent as an NFL head coach and created a toxic environment for both his assistant coaches and players and was caught in multiple on and off the field scandals/controversies and a result, he lost a lot of the locker room’s respect and as a head coach, once you lose the locker room, there’s no going back. If there was none of the on and off the field issues with Meyer and the Jaguars were showing growth and improvement as a team, Urban Meyer still would’ve been the head coach of the Jaguars. But that didn’t happen and hopefully, Shad Khan hires the right head coach and possibly GM.

I wish it could have worked out with Urban but there’s always something with that guy it just wouldn’t work.
