This win is for Greg Coleman. Sad seeing a Legend go. Hope he has a great retirement.

dave jones

Played to win today….. only problem? It was the last game of the season. Hoping the Wilfs get the right people to replace the cancer

    vikeirishman

@judith lambertson what the heck !! Wilfs got us a new stadium 🏟, state of the art training facility etc etc etc there job is NOT to be Jerry jones

    Al Strain

@vikeirishman the Minnesota tax payers actually got those things.

    Mike Smith

@vikeirishman Meh, JJ is a legend compared to the Wilf’s, sadly. Just because some big $ mofo’s own the team does not make them good, no matter what they conned the public into paying for them. JJ’s team is in the playoffs and looks great, ours is in turmoil regardless of our stadium and facilities, not to mention cap and talent.

    SamaritanElad

    @vikeirishman With taxpayers money

    vikeirishman

@Al Strain – yes we ALL got a new stadium 🏟 didn’t we

Ryan damon

Can wait for the draft πŸ’œπŸ’›

dave jones

Ben, you know full well what their thinking & you know where the issues are

    Skol Vikings

Defense ranked 31st with a Defensive coach. Also Zimmer ran off all of their O coordinators and was left with a kid calling the offense.

Julian Marker

Gonna miss miss this team and miss you 3 fellas keeping us Vikings fans positive! Changes are coming. We need it. Skol to the 22-23 season and to the future Skol!!! πŸ’œ πŸ’›

    R PM

    Google: ‘Why you’re team sucks’.
Demented…How in the freak could you miss a never-ending sub.500?

    Hue Yang

Will that good news appear today?πŸ˜€

    Julian Marker

@Hue Yang let’s hope. They have a team meeting this morning I think they know it’s time. big time change is needed

Jamin Ben

Have to disagree with PA on JJ’s shot at Randy Moss single season record. It’s a game with little meaning outside of beating the bears for a better record. If it is a team sport then the Vikings should be more than happy to give JJ the opportunity to get the record and then some.
Because JJ is still a young player he still has some hidden ambition to being the most memorable player he can be. The Vikings not giving him a chance at getting the record with their final possessions may give him the feeling that the team doesn’t really care that much for his goals.
You want to keep a guy as talented as JJ around, give him those chances to further make history with this team. Especially in a low stakes game like this one.

    MN TC21

Kinda glad he didn’t break it in 17 games…16 games would actually be real

    Acyuta-bhava Das

Exactly…I almost never watch these videos any longer because they are just a branding machine now

Derek Baker

Hey P.A….I know who butters your bread, but you went waaaay too far with rationalizing Zimmer & Kubiak’s fundamental disrespect to (a) Jefferson, (b) Cousins (who ended up just short of 4,000yds), (c) a defence that played its tails off to give the ball back to the offence (you KNOW that the defence was motivated by the chance for JJ to break the record.), PLUS (d) the people who count the most….THE FANS who turned up to see JJ break Moss’ record. πŸ˜•I am very disappointed in your comment & certainly Ben & Gabe danced around the issue too much as well. πŸ‘ŽBen, I always value your insights, so I hope you’ll use your abundant experience & football smarts on another platform to share your assessments re the roster/coaches & make some suggestions re what changes should/should not be made!

Gary Hansen

PA… UGH… You gave Zim a pass on JJs record because you own a horse with the man. In the end, the fans would have traded the win for JJ to get the record.

    Mike Smith

I agree 100%, I would have gladly traded a win for JJ’s record in this case.

Al Strain

Bastion of excellence…

GermanShepherd1983

First guy to fire is Paul Allen. I can’t stand that over the top screaming lunatic on the radio. Hey PA, how does it feel to never get to call a Super Bowl?

Old Bones

Can we trade Paul Allen? What a joke. The only things the Viks had to play for today were getting JJ his well earned record, and keeping everyone healthy despite the HC. Hey Paul, maybe Zimmer could hire you on as his personal bootlicker, i mean valet.

    MN TC21

The well earned record he had an entire extra game to breakπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚not even a real record

    vikeirishman

    @MN TC21 – great πŸ‘ point

crypto0634

I always get a kick out of watching PA in these videos. He constantly looks around when the other two guys are talking, as if he is bored out of his mind.

    Ashton Buboltz

@GG YY no not at all he literally addressed why he always is is because he’s looking at players

Richard Larson

Looking at the coaches lined up to replace Zim, the Vikings would be better off keeping him. He’s a good coach. You really can’t blame this season on him.

    R PM

    Absolute…🎯
    Look Mon,
Look at him now..a totally different man…. thrown under the bus… long time ago…he loved Teddy who got whacked.
But he carries a lot of the blame…. he and everybody’s little flea shited on Keenum… and got rid of him…because he, the no-name $2,3M Texas baller, who actually called his own plays and won… with a whole locker room who loved his gutz and were all in.
Keenum got this franchise’s last 13-3….(Youtube Keenum’s 17′ highlights…then compare ”Gruden’s QB Football Camp” interviews with both Keenum and Cousins.)
    But 13-3 wasn’t quite good enough?… just lucky I guessπŸ€
    Then?
This whole franchise got f’d by the never-ending, perpetual, now only a 2022, $25Million cap of an albatross….. This is all on Speilman…he was the cat scatch that brought in a FN 7-9 loser from the Red Skins… forget PFF..He is a16th rated QB, with zero leadership skills and a sub .500 rating ..but paid like a top 5 pro-bowler…1/4 of the team’s float.

It doesn’t matter anymore…who or what they bring in as a new HC.
If these same ‘New Jersey Wolves’ keep Speilman?….lookout.
…You could bring in Arians… and with Spielman?…even he would fail in this total cluster…and leave.
    Watch next year, same…8-9.
The next time the Vikings see a Div Championship is in the 2025-26 season…The next 13-3 Viking QB is now a High school Senior, from either Texas or Ohio.

Ever since I was a 13 year-old-kid…when my RCAF dad brought me back a Viking helmet….signed… from a game in Chicago…I became a total fanatic.
That day ended… very fast… literally on March 15th, 2018, (the aides of MarchπŸ”ͺ)… the day they brought Cousins in..gone.
    Life is good now.🌴😎

    SamaritanElad

Sure we can… He stopped on JJ’s record even

    jeff whitney

I ABSOLUTELY can blame Zimmer!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is the one that named his son offensive coordinator and his buddies boy Offensive coordinator even tho neither one of them is qualified in any way and they proved it this season.

    Richard Larson

Well, it’s done. Zim and Spielman both gone. Prepare to suck for the next decade or so, Vikings fans. All of the defensive stalwarts are getting old. There are a few young studs on offense, but Cousins is obviously not the answer at QB. He puts up good stats but is not clutch. So, you’re looking at 4 or 5 years just to restock and rebuild, and then, it’ll only work if the new regime knows what the hell they’re doing. If they hire the wrong guys, the Vikings could become the Lions.

    Ray Ray

@R PM speilmans gone too genius

Lawrence Daniels

You’re tearing this team “apart”…..!

*Al Pacino
“Any given Sunday”😠

Ok Gabe, it is a “fact” the Vikes won the game. But let’s put that “fact” in the context of this harsh, bottom-line truth: the team missed the playoffs — again. That is really the only “fact” that matters. The “fact” they won a meaningless game against a pathetic opponent means nothing. And BTW, the reason Zim is gone is not the record or the number of close games he lost. It is the “fact” his vaunted defense finished near the bottom of the rankings in the entire league. Harsh.

    Acyuta-bhava Das

    Amen

Mike Smith

Meh, I have very mixed feelings about the win, being a fan I never really want to lose. That being said, we should have lost on purpose for all around better draft picks this year, have to remember that this not only effects the first round but all the rounds and the values of the picks. While I am not all that impressed with the talent in the draft this year as to what we need, IF Spielman is still here, I am sure he will hit on 1 or 2 somewhere in the draft, at what position and how much of a need will be in question, but there again that is up to what they can work out for contracts with our cap this year.
JJ should have had the record no matter the cost at 7 point lead. Both KC and Zim should have made sure of it, this is a issue to me and will be for JJ going forward, I get he compliments KC in interviews, but that is being a good teammate. Love KC and all but he should have made sure JJ got the record knowing about it well before the game and seeing JJ open more then the one time that he should have been hit for a TD, I am heart broken for the kid, and will not be suprised when/if he leaves when his contract is up like Diggs did.

Mumford Hound

Boo to Paul Allen and his comment about JJ. The coaches needed to make that happen but they let the fans down. Glad Zim got fired. We need to move on to a coach who has a similar to JJ’s positive attitude. I’m ok if Paul Allen is fired from this show too
