@Miranda T Itβs not that heβs not good, heβs just not as good of a coach as Sean McVay, Andy Reid, Kyle Shannahan, etc. heβs only had success when Burrow has played because he has to carry the offense. In his defense itβs hard to run any offense with a terrible OLine, but when you have an elite QB, it makes everything easier when calling plays. Guys like McVay and Shannahan have had incredible success while having to compensate for not having a great QB. How good your QB is changes everything as a play-caller because you have to be able to trust that they can make the right decision and deliver the ball accurately and on time. In addition, what makes a quarterback elite is their ability to improvise and create plays when the designed one breaks down. Thatβs why mobility is so important nowadays because it enables them to run around and buy time for receivers to get open. Therefore, having a quarterback who can make something out of nothing when you mess up with the play call significantly increases your offensive production and thus, team success.

@Miranda T Nah cause thereβs a lot more strategy in football than in basketball since itβs 22 players and not 5. You canβt make a super bowl as a bad coach, but an NBA team with the Warriorsβ starting 5 from 2015-2019 could win a Championship with pretty much anyone as a coach.
@Brendon Buffaloe Wait, what???? The warriors had incredible chemistry and made the most 3’s because of their coaching strategy. Not to mention a deep bench in those years. NO, they don’t win with “pretty much any coach.” Look at nearly any successful basketball dynasty and you will find great coaching.
You can see how young Joe Burrow is when he is approaching Weddle & Von to introduce himself. I like the kid even more now.

I was thinking the same thing when I seen him introducing himself an shaking hands with guys. You can tell he’s just happy and thankful to be playing the best sport in the world on the biggest stage! Dude got stupid lucky. KC was like 25-0 when up by 21+ at halftime with Mahomes going into the AFC Championship, and one of the only times ever Mahomes scored 0 in the 2nd half. Heβs super confident but heβs going to be lucky to get past the wildcard this year

@Christian Nevins yea exactly, luck. Iβm a KC fan & I will proudly say Mahomes/coaching staff choked that game. Which is the first time we have ever done that in the playoffs with Mahomes. Let Cinci meet us there again I promise you it will be a different story
They scored 3 times not 4 in the second half, and against our shaky defense. Our specialty is to beat you by outscoring you. Mahomes has one good drive in the second half and the Bengals wouldβve lost

Man if you hate Burrow I feel sorry for you. The dude is a flat out competitor and is brimming with confidence! His relationship with his receivers is like heβs a veteran. The league is in a good place especially if/since the goat is retired now. So many rising talents and teams making progressions each year.

The 1st round of the playoffs wasn’t great maybe the 49ers and Cowboys but Chiefs Bucs and rams game was over by end of the 1st qtr lol but apart from that I agree it was a awesome season ..being from the UK I struggle to get past the 1st qtr of Sunday night games as its like 2am and I’ve got work the next day but this year I stayed up for most of them

The best nfl playoffs in years
Though my team lost in the Super Bowl, this was a win for me as a fan. The Bengals are no longer the team other fans/experts can dismiss or ignore. I’ve been a fan for 40 years and this was the most satisfying season of them all because of the last 31 years of being a punching bag for the rest of the world.
You think that but sports media has a biased narrative towards the Bengals and itβll never change until we win the Super Bowl. A month later and the disrespect is still happening. Thereβs people that donβt even have us making the playoffs. Iβll never get over this loss
Iβm a Browns fan, I know all about being a punching bag. Those Cinci boys are really fun to watch. Hope the division is fun for the next ten years.
