I had a dog named Bernie as a kid. I have a daughter named Berea because of him. God bless you, Bernie. And GO BROWNS!!!!!!!!!

Chris Barker

If we had a Nick Chubb back when Bernie Kosar played we would have won 5 Super Bowls.

Bernie was one of the reasons my teen years were so awesome! That Browns team was so exciting to watch. I still remember the game he came in in 1985 when Gary Danielson got injured. It’s too bad we couldn’t get past Dernver. I thought we were better than the Broncos in both 86 & 87, but that’s why they played the games. I stll have a picture of Bernie with my sisters at the Browns training camp. All four of us were wearing #19.

I enjoyed his analysis during pre season games. Felt like I was actually learning the game. Wish he could do that more often.

Throwing into double coverage…knowing why it was not the right read…yet explain why he was able to do it…defensive fatigue.
Cerebral to the last detail…before that elbow injury against KC, he had “just enough” arm to throw behind defenses.
Thank you for the memories Bernie…so much fun at that time when you were QB and right!

Ken P

You call it the “Red-Zone” … we called it the “Infield”

Robert Janko

I love Bernies analysis! You can feel how much he is still in the game. He should teach highschool QBs, he is still burning for the game and would set the kids on fire. Greets from germany

Ken P

Watching that clip of Leroy over and over, I figured he’d fumble at least once
