McPherson mvp of this game. One of the best kicking performances in playoff history. 2 bombs over 50 yards, with one being a game winner. A perfect 4/4 and accounted for 13 of cinncis 19 points.

The 2021-22 season has been insane. Every game that I watched was spectacular and most of the time was neck to neck with one team just barely winning. What a performance by the Bengals 👏

@John Johnson he definitely had a bad game but that first Interception Julio Jones didn’t ever really make an attempt to catch the ball he kinda just waited till the ball came to him instead of going after it.. just look at the replay I believe he’s gotta do better than that

@Philip Tucker even during the Super Bowl he got hurt but he protected the ball. I hope bengals organizations will take care of him for long career but if not I would love to see him to find different team that can protect him, he is very special and smart qb.
I left Cincinnati as a 5th grader in 1983 but have stayed a Bengals fan all these years. So great to see them make it to the conference finals after all these years.

I’m only 32, but I was born at the very tail end of the 80’s. I grew up through the 90’s and 2000’s which was rough, but I never gave up on my Bengals. Now here we are, about to play for the super bowl. It’s so incredible, I never thought I’d see the day. Obviously it’s something that every fan hopes for, but with the bengals, not really something I expected.
Although not a Bengals fan, just happy to see them making it to the AFC championship after so many close ones over the years (Carson Palmer years in particular).

2:16 was one of the most intelligent tackles I’ve ever seen. He knew he had no chance
so he just fell down hoping to buy time for his teammates and ended up causing both the runner and blocker to trip over eachother. Most guys would just try to tackle the runner and get helplessly blocked
Yes somebody else was trying to call that a missed block. No it was just a very smart play by the defender. If you’ve been following the Bengals this year, Chase has a bunch of long yardage catches. Some of them have been on deep balls thrown by Burrow. But a lot of them have just been passes that usually go for maybe 10 yards, but Chase is so fast he turns them into huge gainers. He is unbelievable.

That McPherson isn’t just a good kicker. He’s a straight up offensive weapon. Cincinnati can thank him as much or more as anyone for that win.
