Justin Herbert is better than burrow. 1st off imagine 10 minutes before a game and you’ve never started, someone comes up to you and says “you’re gonna start in 10 minutes for your first time ever in the nfl. Against the Super Bowl champions” he then proceeded to have an amazing game and almost actually won. So everyone talks about burrows mental toughness but herberts is as good or better. Burrow misses wide open deep throws, Herbert does not. Herbert has a better arm and understanding of the game. So if you’re gonna compare any rookie to manning it isn’t burrow it’s Herbert

@Tomrod19 colts are not a bad team. Number one defense in the league… don’t know how you call that a bad team. Ya the offense could use some better weapons. But rivers HAS lost a step. It is what it is. No he’s not bad, but he’s not great either. Real colts fans like me weren’t hating on him anyways. Ya he wasn’t doing so good for a few weeks(bad throws, interceptions, etc). But it was never all his fault, it was a team issue. Not a “garbage” team though, as you said. Rivers has it much better here than with the chargers. He actually has a line now

@Ironmurs If we’re going on wins, he’s also had one of the best RBs in history in his backfield most of his career (LaDainian Tomlinson). A more well rounded team will win more games. Fouts and the Chargers of the 80s were a 1 trick pony and despite that, still won games. Fouts is a company man, and like all company men, they will promote those within the company currently. Staubach claimed Aikman was the best QB in Cowboy history. Staubach was way better than Aikman. Hell, from a pure passer standpoint, Danny White was better than Aikman.

Unfortunately Mike Brown is a moron who thinks he’s a head coach and a GM and disregards the advice of people under him who actually know the needs of the team. They need help on the O-line before Burrow goes down. They drafted an amazing qb, it blows my mind why they decided to start him week 1 with no protection. At this point I’d rather see him go to the pats and dominate, it’d be easier to watch than the 2020 Bengals.

I really don’t know why this is being said. He was the number one player in the draft and we all knew that coming in. This was expected, they were a two win team last year its going to take a year or two.

Only reasons he threw so many picks was bc bruce arians stupid playbook that involves throwing down the field all the time. Luck threw a ton of picks under him his rookie year too. @Braden Deifel He thought the receiver could make the play . He didn’t and the defender did . He’s the QB . Long for last year’s great QB for the next 10 games if you want . 60.9% and 2942 yds didn’t keep the spot . Rivers has it now .

It’s called playing against the bears defense and then playing against the Bengals defense
