@Dustin Barlow penning is overrated and cross at 6 is fine value, I think he’s easily the best pass protector in the draft. There is also a decent chance neal or ikem is there imo.
@Dustin Barlow also with all the teams that are interested with ridder, he probably wont be around in the second round, also seems like the steelers are going oline first round and maybe a guy like corral 2nd round or skylar thompson 3rd or 4th. And again, penning is significantly overrated and unless a team messes up, he won’t be picked until 2nd round.
@diaper Penning is a top 15 pick. He is by far the most intriguing lineman in this draft. He is an athletic freak, whos athleticism dwarfs the other guys in this draft. Him going to a small college could be what knocks him. I compare him to Ali Marpet, but at LT.

@diaper I am Fine with Cross, Ekonwu, and Neal at 6, but IMO Penning has the lowest floor but the highest ceiling by far in this draft. He has Anthony Munoz type athleticism. That kind of Athleticism doesnt walk in the door but once every 25 years. I think you trade down and take that risk. Its impossible for him to be worst than what we already have.
At least his hair looks better than when he was with the Giants

@Drew Holliday Thanks Man! Im a contributor on the DAN Show it comes on every Friday night. I will most likely be on it talking to Dan about the panthers perspective. He talks mainly about the Chiefs perspective, One Pride does the Lions perspective. You have to look at things from Fitterer’s perspective and how he thinks. On defense he believes in building a team from the secondary up, because he did that in Seattle. On offense he believes in building from the Receivers in. We locked up DJ, we have Anderson, added Tremble and Marshal last year. Its time go line. I cant lay all the blame on Darnold this past season. You have to give him every reason to prove he is the problem. You traded two 2nd rounders for him and a 3rd. You better play him one more year, but have someone like Ridder you can turn to.

Give the man a chance, this team needs to be in a rebuild. I know dillusional fans think 🤔 all they need is a QB. But build team in other areas and 3 years from now look for a Quarterback, this team cant beat Buccaneers or Saints to win their Division this year so why mortgage future for a QB.
