Nice

AJG

Ben Johnson knows what he’s talking about for sure

Mr. Windmill

This dude is going to make this offense more consistent than we’re used to. Get excited.

    Tyler Mercer

He’s the reason Goff looked great after the bye

    maddogkilla1

Oh yeah! We are SO excited! I’m sure we can get a couple of deals put together again. I mean we just won the Super Bowl 🥣 so we obviously got some quality players that need to find a new home.

Btw, y’all have anymore potential future HOF players that are toeing that line and need that 1 defining season that makes them a lock for NFL immortality? Anyone?

    Mr. Windmill

@maddogkilla1 What pills do you take?

Zoron

Just guys being dudes anything better than that?

Don Bur

My OC dammit

Lions Talk With MicroMike by Chat Sports

Ready to see this on game day

Ryan Kendall

This staff is so much better than the last

Tom McLain

Casual, calm, like his style of communication.

edward rossman

Lions coaching staff is elite- for the first time in ages. Campbell had to learn a few things about in game judgement- and he did. He’s got everything else.

    LIONS FOREVER

    I agree

Superintendent Chalmers

This guy looks like Ryan Tannehill kinda. Hope he succeeds

Marlon Douglas

the right man for the job! go lions!

Anthony L

1:15 “GOLLY’ LOL

LIONS FOREVER

I’m excited for next year, go lions

George

I truly wish we’d luck up just one time (I’ve been a Lion fan for 40 years) and hit on a great coach and on our top 1-3 draft picks at the same time. I truly do. But, something tells me it ain’t gonna happen.

    Jonathan

Well whatever that something is, it’s wrong and probably a figment of your imagination from 40 years of mediocrity. We’ve got new ownership for the first time since the 60s

    George

@Jonathan “New Ownership”??? One Ford is the same as the others. I actually think Sheila is going to be worse that the old man and Martha. She has fooled most Lion fans into thinking that a 3 win season has us “on the right track”. And, aside from Chark, we re-sign the Free Agent players who made us a 3 win team, including TWO worthless backup QBs. Compare what the Lion Management does to the Management of teams that consistently win (Packers, Patriots, Chiefs, Steelers, Patriots, etc.). It’s laughable. As Billy Parcells said, “You are what your record says you are”. Sheila is intentionally grooming Lion fans to accept 3-6 win seasons as “progress” while cutting costs and mis-managing the team. I know you’re on her bandwagon now like a lot of others, but let’s have this discussion again in 2024 when we win no more than 6-7 games. Reality doesn’t match the hype.

    Jonathan

@George George I want whatever drugs you’re on man lol, I can tell your brain is completely gone after Martha and William, I feel bad for you. If you don’t notice the difference then there’s nothing I can say other than keep your negativity to yourself and see you next year. Somehow you think by signing a bunch of overpaid old free agents, and getting rid of the same guys who saw tremendous improvement over the season, the same guys we’ve built our culture around, makes any sense. Obviously we were going to most all of our guys, if you were actually paying a lick of attention you’d have known we were 3-1 with Goff the latter half of the season when things started to click. We had a lot of close games, we had a super young team and found a bunch of talent next year and our guys are hungry. You don’t do a rebuild by getting rid of your players bright one. Same way the cowboys had 90% of the same roster from their 1-15 team on their super bowl team. I don’t really have the time to sit here and argue with somebody that clearly has no idea what’s going on.

    George

@Jonathan LOL. “I don’t really have the time to sit here and argue…”. Real funny dude. Like you don’t sit looking online all day reading and commenting on what you see. Classic comment. God bless ya and your blind optimism. You are counting that last game against the Packer 4th string in the second half as a “win”. Real smart. We just have to wait and see who is right and who is wrong here.

    Jonathan

@George I don’t have to wait for anything because I actually know what’s going on. When you wanna stop embarrassing yourself with comments showing your ignorance, you can come back and have an actual discussion on the changes that have been undergoing underneath new leadership. Until then keep your idiocy to yourself. Finish that quoted sentence bright one and maybe it wouldn’t have been so funny, comprehension skills looking thin with you huh.

Dirty Beef Curtains

Such a young positive coaching staff. Can see they are a tight group, and definitely going to flourish as they get more talent, and coach up the culture of players they want in Detroit.

Shashank Subramaniam

I know a lot of guys out on a forced personality for show when they’re mic’d up, but Ben Johnson just seems like a natural. Young, relatable, quippy, lively, speaks/moves with intent when necessary, and brings a confident energy with him. certainly looks like the type of coach I’d like to play for. Great move, promoting him to OC. now we gotta just make sure that we can lock up Glenn, Pleasant, and Staley for this year. Campbell and the front office did brilliantly to bring these guys on board last season, and despite the win/loss column, these guys are clearly respected around the league so it’s only a matter of time before other teams come poaching, but I trust them to coach up our young guys during their time here

Johan

I cant believe the detroit rams won the superbowl
